Agree, but it was still a bad example.Dak still has some time left.

So are all the other players, coaches and front office.Elway had multiple Super Bowl appearances and performed in the playoffs before he eventually won one
Dak is lacking BIG TIME in that area
You go right on out and refinance a new car loan and buy a Mercedez Benz and take it on the Autobahn. Smart guy buying into tariffs and a 30 year calendar with a good team growing before one's eyes.Consider the source for your answer.
Here and now...are they surviving and improving strongly both?Agree, but it was still a bad example.
I would not be shocked if he plays only 1 or 2 more seasons, or if he manages to stick around the league for another 8.We’ll have a better idea of how many years he has left after this season.
Oh, I see that you are a Doctor and in your free time received a Law Degree.I would not be shocked if he plays only 1 or 2 more seasons, or if he manages to stick around the league for another 8.
It all depends on if his body finally gives out. He’s pretty beaten up at this point in his career.
On game day in the NFL, a team can have 48 players active. This means that 48 players are eligible to be in the game, while the remaining 5 from the 53-man active roster may be inactive for various reasons, such as injury or being designated as an inactive for the game.Elway had multiple Super Bowl appearances and performed in the playoffs before he eventually won one

That looks impressive don't it?Elway had multiple Super Bowl appearances and performed in the playoffs before he eventually won one

The only way he only plays 1 or 2 more seasons is if he suffers a career ending injury. If he retires there’s still a lot of money that’s not guaranteed.I would not be shocked if he plays only 1 or 2 more seasons, or if he manages to stick around the league for another 8.

Unfortunately we need him for 2025, 2026 and 2027 seasons. The only way he only plays 1 or 2 more seasons is if he suffers a career ending injury. If he retires there’s still a lot of money that’s not guaranteed.
This is why we paid him. This is why other teams are overpaying good QB’s. If he were to have another rough season where he misses a lot of time with yet another injury or his performance drops off, we could start seriously looking for a QB in next years draft with one of our first two picks to start grooming.Unfortunately we need him for 2025, 2026 and 2027 seasons.

You a fricken team doctor? No so pipe down.I would not be shocked if he plays only 1 or 2 more seasons, or if he manages to stick around the league for another 8.

Your are trying to logically explain a very complex game to someone who only see's the QB - if they win they belong on the HOF, if they lose their terrible. On game day in the NFL, a team can have 48 players active. This means that 48 players are eligible to be in the game, while the remaining 5 from the 53-man active roster may be inactive for various reasons, such as injury or being designated as an inactive for the game.
I'm just curious why the records are being hung on Prescott the playoff games he's not done much worse you're trying to tell me that Elway's never thrown interceptions in the playoffs are you saying that he's played perfectly and carried his teams are you saying he never had a defense and a coaching staff I mean what he was missing was an elite run game and he got that they put him over the top
I'm just curious I just want to make sure you understand there's 48 active players and yet somehow Prescott is the only one that has a bad playoff record he's the only one disgust when these teams have been missing over the last 30 years it always goes back to Romo and that I thought there were 47 other players who have by the way not shown up in played well including now we can add the coaching staff and the referees and let's talk.
I sort of make sure by memory you remember every single one of John Elways games that don't tell me it was an era thing i've seen 8 men throw interceptions in playoff games i've seen us behind in Super Bowls because of bad play by Troy but nobody remembers that because they think he carried the teams when it was Emmett Smith the offensive line in the defense and the coaching staff that helped make sure his mistakes were an elevated to the point where he was blamed for the loss and instead they won games.
It is ironic around here that that whenever playoff records are mentioned bad or good the only two people on Earth that's blamed and has a record hanging on their head is the head coach and the quarterback I didn't know they were the only ones on the field how is it that they have a record and guys like I don't know TJ Watt who hasn't won a playoff game 0 in Ford has one sack in four games same thing with Parsons if we want to keep it on the Cowboys where's the blame really lie is it the poor run game lack of physicality and the trenches not making the plays you should have made on defense not being able to stop the run missing tackles missing kicks demarco Murray fumbling the football dan Bailey missing two field goals and then there's the Dez Bryant no catch this is the things that we're hanging records on only head coaches and quarterbacks now even though there are other players on football teams somehow when we discuss football games we they say well look at his playoff record really his?
That's the problem with Dallas Cowboy fans they think that players who in Super Bowls the quarterback must be better than their quarterbacks because they have a better record now that would be a team concept that's a team accomplishment.
I mean more recently matthew Stafford led the league in interceptions that's right he threw two interceptions in the Super Bowl and nobody talks about it even though that was on him but his defense was so good his team was so good his coaching staff was so good that they were able to overcome it and not put the blame on the quarterback they didn't ask their quarterback to be perfect//
newsflash,,, Quarterbacks are not perfect they actually have problems like any other player but the better teams are able to cover up those issues because they got his back they don't put it all on the quarterback like they do in Dallas according to Dallas they don't care how bad the rest of the team played that our quarterback makes the most money so he should just be able to carry the team to victory no matter what's going on he should be able to carry the team to victory... That's a delusional and very wrong way to look at football or sports..
by the way I have people who are Dallas Stars fans which I love the Dallas stars but I'm not a big hockey fan but they're doing everything to say that all those goals that Jake Ottinger gave up, you know the goalie ,his jobs is stop pucks, it wasn't his fault it was the defense wasn't good enough.
they're saying that most of those were not on him and they're protecting him with their life you know be nice if around here people saw that with the Cowboys when they don't play well in playoff losses that they go back and look at the top five reason they lost and it wasn't the quarterback, if they actually defended their quarterback like the stars are defending their goalie.
Newsflash, though some of those goals were on him ,but a lot of more not he faced more shots than any other Goalie in the playoffs and by a mile that probably means his defense wasn't great, his support wasn't great in front of him ,they didn't do well but that's funny that happens with our quarterbacks, yet the quarterback is the only one really blamed in most conversations..
Good lord, chill out Rocky. You a fricken team doctor? No so pipe down.
I don’t know what I said that warranted this incoherent response.Oh, I see that you are a Doctor and in your free time received a Law Degree. What next? He should be concerned with drug use?

No one likes it when someone says something like it’s fact when it’s not. You said “He’s pretty beaten up at this point in his career” which is BS.Good lord, chill out Rocky.
I was just commenting on the fact that he’s had quite a few serious injuries in the last few years.
Pro sports are not very forgiving when players bodies begin to fail.
Baghdad Bob is at it again. No one likes it when someone says something like it’s fact when it’s not. You said “He’s pretty beaten up at this point in his career” which is BS.
Then show me the definition of “beaten up”.Baghdad Bob is at it again.
Here is Dak’s recent injury history:
Dak has had 2 recent major right leg injuries. That, by definition, is “beaten up”. These injuries continue to compound…..especially when they are in the same region of each other.
- 2020: Suffered a dislocated ankle and compound fracture in Week 5 against the New York Giants, requiring surgery and missing the rest of the season.
- 2021: Returned from the ankle injury but suffered a calf injury during Week 8.
- 2022: Missed multiple games due to thumb injuries.
- 2024: Tore his right hamstring off the bone in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons, leading to season-ending surgery
So he was good in 2023!!!
