did we give Prescott enough weapons? We are set at RB but looking at the WR's and TE's on paper we went from middle of the pack to the bottom of the deck in the NFL. With Terrance Williams coming off injury and most likely suspended for driving drunk and fleeing the scene. We really need to get a veteran TE who actually showed something in the NFL. Right now we are putting a big burden on often injured guys and a low round rookie. When you have lesser talented players u need to have a good scheme. Not sure we have a guy on the offensive coaching staff that can scheme up a good offense for us to run. We might be a very very run heavy team. Don't let teams get up on us or we might not have the firepower to catch up.

It is yet to be determined if he was driving drunk. It doesn't sound like he was.
And no, Dak as of now, before TC does not have any weapons other than Zeke and the OL. Need Wr and TE positions to step up and surprise us.

On the other side, the D is looking better than the O for once. Maybe they too can surprise and not give up points and get the ball back in good field positions for the O. They will need it.

We have a top 3 O line and top 3 RB, that’s much more than most QB’s have. Just look at the teams with a stud WR and/or RB’s but no O line. I don’t think our situation is as bad as you make it seem.

On the other hand, if we need a top O line and RB for the rest of Dak’s career in order for him to be successful then that’s concerning. Most QB’s don’t have that luxury and they don’t fall apart like Dak did mid way through last season.

First of all, T Will was never given a sobriety test so there is zero proof that he was drunk and he didn't flee from the scene. No one else was involved in the accident. He jumped a curb, that's it. End of strory. Second we are on par with our WR's with everyone else in the NFC east except the Giants. Third you over look the strength of the team, the O-line.Fourth we have no idea what the TE's on the team can do because Witt was in the way of their development. Yeah, let's throw in the towel today. jesus H christmas

RB's they're good but it remains to be seen if they have the best in the division as they have the last two seasons. WR's is an unknown as there are too many new players and Williams could be gone. TE's, the Cowboys are way behind the East teams and you could make a case that the other East teams have 3 of the top 10 or even top 5 TE's in the league. Ertz, Ingram and Reed are excellent TE's and would be better than ours had Witten not retired. However, the Cowboys offense was not set up for a dynamic TE as a playmaker like the other three are.

If that OL can keep them off Manning, that is going to be a ballbuster offense to even slow down and they may have the new set of triplets at RB, WR and TE.

The problem that the Cowboys were presented with was too many key elements to address at LB and OL to go high on a WR and there wasn't one really worth a 1st. They did what they could at WR with two players added and a good looking prospect in the 3rd.

They couldn't address everything and I am content they did what they could. My primary concern is not the weapons for the QB but the QB himself. And for the OC to utilize the weapons that he does have.

And it could be a 11 to 12 win season.
Easily!

* it seems several fans can only recall the straight up suckage the offense generated in 25% of our games last season & while it was of complete & utter suckage, it can't be the starting point in which to look at this season

The Cowboys personnel is different then most. They are below average at receiver and tight end but are elite at offensive line and running back. Being elite at those positions should allow for us to be less than stellar at receiver.

Those running backs are also going to take up some of the slack in the passing game. You have 4 RB’s (Zeke, Smith, Austin and Olawale) that can make big plays in the passing game.

We have no idea what we have in our WR's except Bease and T Will. All we're doing is taking Herns and Thompson and juxtaposing their careers to date on what they will be here. If Herns can stay healthy, he'll make us forget all about senor Dez. Thompson at the very least is the equal of Butler, the guy he replaced and Butler was never used enough. We have a new WR coach, maybe that makes some difference
