This could be a 4 to 5 win season.
I see 8-8. At the least. Give or take a game.

As good as Zeke and the O-line are, relying on them and them alone will ultimately get you nowhere when facing a good defense like Philly or Minnesota. You need a varied attack to keep good defenses off balance and move the ball. The biggest weapons we have are the five guys in front of him and Zeke. Those alone make us a really good offense.
RB's they're good but it remains to be seen if they have the best in the division as they have the last two seasons. WR's is an unknown as there are too many new players and Williams could be gone. TE's, the Cowboys are way behind the East teams and you could make a case that the other East teams have 3 of the top 10 or even top 5 TE's in the league. Ertz, Ingram and Reed are excellent TE's and would be better than ours had Witten not retired. However, the Cowboys offense was not set up for a dynamic TE as a playmaker like the other three are.
If that OL can keep them off Manning, that is going to be a ballbuster offense to even slow down and they may have the new set of triplets at RB, WR and TE.
The problem that the Cowboys were presented with was too many key elements to address at LB and OL to go high on a WR and there wasn't one really worth a 1st. They did what they could at WR with two players added and a good looking prospect in the 3rd.
They couldn't address everything and I am content they did what they could. My primary concern is not the weapons for the QB but the QB himself. And for the OC to utilize the weapons that he does have.
It’s going to be interesting to see who can get open.
We have a top 3 O line and top 3 RB, that’s much more than most QB’s have. Just look at the teams with a stud WR and/or RB’s but no O line. I don’t think our situation is as bad as you make it seem.
On the other hand, if we need a top O line and RB for the rest of Dak’s career in order for him to be successful then that’s concerning. Most QB’s don’t have that luxury and they don’t fall apart like Dak did mid way through last season.
smh, abject poverty is it? Oh well, deal with the thoughts of impoverishment. Just the facts maam, just the factsUsing the term " weapons" is kinda funny. Thats guys saying a banana peel is a weapon. These guys scare nobody.
At WR and TE, we are bottom 5 in the league.
If Tyron holds up and Flemming is as advertised. They will all get open. Throw the 10 persnnel at them. Make them go small and fast then smash them with Zeke, Rod and a smattering of Bo. We're freaking out about things we don't even know about. At the very least Witt is no longer standing in the way of TE development and Dez's whine is gone. His whine was not fine, it was vinegar
If Dak and zeke go down and the defense sucks, then yeahThis could be a 4 to 5 win season.
I could see the protection being good enough that people get open. Dak’s strength is making the reads quickly. It’ll be interesting though, because—with the exception of maybe Beasley—the skill position guys outside RB are all unremarkable.

You left out if Bailey gets hurt again. If Dak and zeke go down and the defense sucks, then yeah
You can only pick from what's available.
I think Gallup is on par with the WRs picked ahead of him. Not a #1 maybe, but not a JAG either.
I didn't see Ridley, Kirk, Moore, Clark, Sutton, etc. as ridiculously better than what we took. Have to wait on Schultz & Wilson, but they're a definite maybe, too.
We already know what the offensive games plans are year: pound the rock with Zeke. That's it. Every. Single. Week.smh, abject poverty is it? Oh well, deal with the thoughts of impoverishment. Just the facts maam, just the facts

It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure it out. Does anybody think this team will go into any Sunday to air it out? Prescott throwing it 40 times? Of course not.
And if we know this, so do defensive coordinators. Some DC's will have the personnel to stop them, some will not. Playoff caliber defenses will generally be able to contain Zeke, and that will be that.
Then we may as well shut this forum down until SeptemberThe game is played on the field, not in our heads. We haven't played a single game in 2018. Now maybe I'll be disappointed like you at the end of the season BUT let's actually play a few games
,,,er,,,even a 'banana peel' traveling at a speed in excess of 4000 feet per second would prove lethal,,, sure ,you only see them laying around on the kitchen table or on the steps in the emergency exit stairwells while in their passive banana peel mode,,,Using the term " weapons" is kinda funny. Thats guys saying a banana peel is a weapon. These guys scare nobody.
