Prescott wins Bob Lilly award

You asked for it, it's worse Dak is looking right at him as the TE already beat his guy, he went for the rb sitting down in zone.

Honesty, from this angle the RB looks more open than the WR that looks to be blanketed inside out. Once the ball was thrown the LB then advanced toward the RB making it appear the WR is more open than he really is.

Hard to tell from a side-angle pic off a TV screen. If you really want to break down game tape accurately, you have to have the all-22 footage. That is usually released two days after the game is played and you have to pay for it. It really is the only way to analyze where the ball should have been thrown.

His name won't be remembered as a winner, he won't be remembered as a anything more than a football player and losing one at that
If we are talking about Dak, it’s gonna be awhile before his name gets knocked out of the record books. One doesn’t become the franchise leader in passing yards easily or quickly, and that’s where he is.

that seems pretty convincing.
guy he ended up throwing to still has his back to him at this point. pocket is pretty clean so no need to rush it.
A ball thrown to the goal line on the seam or to the post is a pitch and catch TD. TE already has a step here. Subsequent picture shows he increased separation from here.

I am still amazed that people can't admit that this is a missed opportunity.
this idea that there is no way possible Dak made a mistake.... Mind boggling.

Stuff like this only serves to remind me of how far this franchise has fallen. Man we were awesome for a long long time.

Linebacker in the middle could've gotten to that spot if he threw it there. That's why they have linebackers sitting there in the middle.
that Linebacker is locked in on the guy about to curl up in front of him and is parallel to the TE, 5 yards away, and facing the opposite direction the TE is running. He has basically no idea that the TE is even breaking open behind him. TE at this point is running full speed on the slant/post

With a properly thrown ball up the seam or toward the post--there is absolutely zero chance that LB who is standing still in the middle of the field is going to be able to pivot, make up the ground between him and the TE, and intercept (or even break up) that pass.

Zero chance. Pick the best MLB in the history of football. Any name you want, in the history of the NFL, and put him in that spot right there standing still in the middle of the screen with a TE already running full speed 5 yards away behind your back.

If Dak rips that ball right now (in that still shot) to the proper location with the proper touch on it--there is zero chance that's anything but a walk in TD. Zero.

It's ok to admit #4 missed an opportunity. it doesn't make you a bad fan. You can still wear your "This girl loves Dak" t shirt with pride.
