If Moore is named back-up after this, there is no hope for our coaching staff. It will show Garrett plays favorites. Rush is already a much better QB than Kellen.

They are not going to trust a rookie with that role unless he's forced into the lineup like Dak was last year. Rush is playing for a spot on the 53 instead of on the PS.

Always tough to tell what the blocking assignments are for the tight end. But, Rico has looked very good tonight and is a way better blocker than Escobar ever was. And his ability in the passing game is impressive.

Rush has looked darn good.

Relationship with Linehan be darned, Kellen Moore has just not proven himself to be an NFL caliber player. You can't even get a glimpse of the offense when he's out there.
