BTW we drafted Drew Shelton over Mike Washington Jr who I wanted but Drew was the last OT worth taking. We just have to give him a year or 2 to get his strength up and his technique polished.

It seems like on day 3 they let their coaches pick players they like. They need to cut that crap out and let the scouts do their jobs. Remember all the wasted Day 3 picks who didn't even attempt to make the team when Marinelli was in the draft room.

I watched his college tape and he looked pretty bad. I’m not sure what they saw other than raw physical potential. He looked slow and timid to me.

Man, we need to pick up another tackle…..our starting RT and 2 back up tackles looking like stool so far this pre season.

Sam got him one, so that sixth spot might still be his. I think players like Wheat and Land have to clearly beat him out because of his contract and his play on special teams.

The difference is pretty negligible, and Howell has a guaranteed contract.

They might be thinking of keeping both of them. You can trade quarterbacks for good picks.
