Game Day Preseason Cowboys and Cardinals Thread

Ask Ai about Jaydon Blue and if he fumbles. 100% been a problem all through his career. No thanks. Yes, don't like him. That type of problem rarely just goes away.
Ai is programmed through whoever feeds it information whether accurate or not. Ai is 100% wrong about tonight, because Blue never fumbled tonight!

That trade has gotta be a contender for the all time worst
Very well could be, but I would not bring up Herschel Walker to Viking fans, although factoring in the guaranteed money Watson got it’s definitely debatable, but yeah probably the Watson trade.

I love the Von Miller signing, but shouldn't he make a tackle before he started acting like the face of the franchise?
Lol right. Dude had a press conference like he was about to save this roster when he signed here.

When you have 138.5 career sacks, two Super Bowl wins, a Super Bowl MVP, three first team All Pro honors, become a member of the NFL all-decade team from the 2010s, and make eight Pro Bowls......

Miller can act any way he wants to.

Sure he can, but my energy was more toward the front office on how they presenting him as the savior and missing piece for a Super Bowl defense.

Who has any fumbles attributed to them this game? That is Davis, not Blue. You guys have a very bad habit of making up bunk to try to hurt a player you don't like while trying to help your fave.
It's not bunk, Jaydon Blue had a notable fumbling problem during his college career at Texas. He fumbled seven times over his final two collegiate seasons, including five fumbles during the 2024 season alone, which averaged out to about one fumble every 25 to 26.

Jaydon Blue had notable fumbling concerns carry over into Dallas Cowboys training camp and preseason practices. While he flashed high-end explosiveness and speed, he put the ball on the ground multiple times—including during joint practices—reviving concerns about a ball-security issue that dated back to his college career at Texas. It is BUNK!!!

Where is the proof Blue has lost fumbles during games as a Dallas Cowboy?

Only 1!!!! Unlike the others who have fumbled more!!!! So stick it if you can't handle the facts.

Milton has always had talent, has a rocket for a arm, throws the ball 50 yards with a flick of the wrist. His problem has been decision making, seems like he is starting to grow up in that area.
Yes. Part coaching (and being coachable) and part getting playing time to work on it.

I didn't say he fumbled "tonight". I said he is a fumbler, meaning he has had problems throughout his career. There was a small "after he was down" issue last night but just more proof he can't hold onto the ball. He is absolutely known as having ball security issues. You really want that on your team? No thanks for me.

I'm in the middle of 2nd qtr, and these clown announcers are insufferable!

I'm thinking I'd have a better time watching the game with Rocky and TMC.
It was a better group than the one in Seattle last week.

Also listen for the dejection in the play by play guy's voice whenever the Cowboys make a play.

The league average for carries per fumble last year was 1 per 96 carries, about a 1.04% fumbling rate. Anything under 1 per 50 carries is considered high risk of fumbling.

Blue's 1 fumble was on 38 carries, 2.64%. Let's look at the stats in a way that correlates next time. Sure, it was less than others, but it was at a way, way higher percentage. That percentage, unfortunately, was similar to his college fumble rate (3.25%). Facts.

If you extrapolate that out to, say, Williams' carry total from last year, that would be 6.6 Fumbles (Williams had 2).
