I’m like any other fan in that I want to “win” preseason games, but with our current roster, coming off last season, the only real wins in preseason are:

1. Get through it healthy with all key starters ready to start the season
2. See progress from rookies and marginal backups
3. Get effective evaluations in order to make the right cuts in shaping the roster

This team will not “win” any preseason games with our key OL-men, receivers, DEs, and starting QB on the sideline. I don’t foresee any of our stars playing more than maybe a quarter in total this preseason. Games will be ugly, as will the scoreboard, so enjoy watching the 1-1 battles and the youngsters.
