I recently reviewed just about every NFL preview magazine (The Sporting News, Lindy, Surefire Scouting, Athlon, PFW, ATS, Etc.) known to man. Many have picked the Boys to represent the NFC in this years Super Bowl, but none picked Dallas to win it all.
I particularly enjoyed the in-depth analysis and quantity of info in Surefire Scouting's magazine. They have a good Fantasy feature and some interesting articles.

Anyway, they selected the Jaguars over the Cowboys in the SB. Other mags picked the Pats, Chargers and Colts over the Cowboys.
Where is the luv for the Boys??

cool! we shouldn't be over-confident again if were underdogs in the bowl. but than again i'm sure by that time we will be the favorites. but to the ts question, why should we be getting a lot of love? this team has folded in the pressure of a wildcard game and divisional playoff game the last 2 years. so why would anybody think we could handle the pressure of the biggest game you can play as a pro football player?

The AFC is clearly superior, hence the 'experts' picking the AFC team to win it all.

Even though the NFC had a better record in non-conference games last year, and an NFC team won the super bowl...wierd. It's actaully pretty annoying.

Well I'm glad they picked another team to win it all honestly, that will serve as good motivation for Dallas...

Just like Madden once said-"There's no such thing as saying WE'RE NUMBER 2!".

With that being said, I'm glad these publications AREN'T picking us to win the Super Bowl.

If anything though-expect a SURPRISE team out of the NFC. Can't say which one, but even if it's a supposedly bottom-leader like Atlanta, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I wouldnt to go as far as saying Atlanta, but there are always surprise teams. Who picked the Saints before '06, or the Packers before last season? Its far to early to try to predict the postseason. You can have a general idea, but the last 2 teams are usually surprise teams that come from nowhere.

The Chargers ? Really ?

Tomlinson is on the downside.

QB still unproven, WR's the same.
Depth questionable, ehh...

You can't argue with the logic of selecting the AFC team when all the pundits and experts say that conference is stronger and better. If you watch the games of the top teams, you can see the talent level more consistent than the NFC.

AFC top teams -
New England, Indianapolis, San Diego, Pittsburgh, and Jacksonville

NFC top teams -
Dallas, NYG, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Seattle, and GB

San Diego versus Dallas sounds good to me.

Actually, I think the Sporting News preview picked the Cowboys over the Chargers... well, I have all of the preview mags at home and one of them did, just don't remember which one exactly.

WOW, I would like to have that "downside" added to our roster.:D

the love was for us to get there......remember, we have not won a playoff game.....so it took alot of love to predict us to go to the SB

lol be glad i saw the misspellings which gave me the red squiggally lines...

if you include the super bowl and pro bowl tho the nfc had a two game advantage over the afc

The sporting news picked the Chargers over the Cowboys. I haven't seen a magazine that has picked Dalls to win it all.
