Preseason Team Depth Rating

Last year, I wouldn't have thought that Romo would be out for the majority of the season. We saw what happens when backups have to play. However, this is the NFL. Players need to be ready. The season is just around the corner and Romo may be one hard fall away from being out again (hope not though). We have suspensions. We have injuries and others are sure to happen during training camp.

So, what's the overall grade for the depth on this team? What will be interesting is a middle of training camp rating and right after the season starts. We will have a upward tick or plateau?

We always hear how much talent is on this team. Which one would hope that includes depth. But we yet to see it. Seems there has not been any depth for years and years.
however I think they did improve that depth this year. IF they can step up to their supposed potential. We should or hop to see it the first 4 games, then without Ro for the following 6 more games, or even for the season if he is released.

I gave them a C- because I yet to see this depth and overall talent. First line talent, yes, depth talent not so much. I graded them higher on what potential I think they have. But lower because it remains to be seen.

I agree with you. I gave them a C. I have seen talent leave here and do very well elsewhere. Not ALL of them, but enough to where I am wondering if the talent evaluators (scouts and coaches) aren't in sync!

Front liners are easily a B but the next level is easily a C.
