We aren't very good. 4 years in JG offense this is all we have to show for it. The defense although kept the game in reach to win - Did not create any turnovers.

I know many of you will say not to get excited after one game. But this team picked up from where they left off from the Viking game.

I was waiting for someone to start this thread....+1

Cowboys picked up right where they left off after preseason...

alot of suckage.

Where are all the it's just preseason people? cant use that excuse anymore can you?

We need to learn to put the ball in the end zone. Moving the ball is not the problem. Finishing drives is. Our defense is night and day compared to the preseason. Need to get turnovers though. So I'm going to have to say that yes, it was a fluke.

patch work oline with Alex Barron the worst plaer in the NFL at right tackle.

On the road vs a team with a new HC and a defense that you didnt know what to expect.

couple that with the fact Jason Garrtt is a bad play caller and the coaching staff over all is less than average and you get tonights result.

7 points....Seven freakin' points....

12 penalties....12 freakin' penalties....

And we've been "gameplanning" for the skins before the pre-season was even over according to the coaching staff.....

Yeah we racked up the yards, but we've read that book before....

way to early to start predicting our demise 1 game in.

but as usual the same bs from garrett. ive been questioning his calls for yrs and nothing has changed in that aspect.

that still hasnt killed my hopes of a good season. the d gave up only 6 points of offense. once we get back a few of our starters and garett continues his same bs a few gms in then ill start to worry. but im not pushing the panic button week 1

I still need to see more.

They moved the ball tonight better than they did most of preseason. The biggest issue was the penalties.

If Colombo and Kosier are upgrades over Barron and Holland, then we'll definitely see better results when they return.

And by the way, I thought Holland played pretty good tonight. So did Gurode I thought.

I thought the oline played very good except for Barron of course. Free was solid tonight except he had one flozell hiccup tonight.

There is just something off right now on offense. I think they need to speed up the pace a little more. It seems like they play better once they get in a groove.

Although maybe if they speed the pace up that could lead to more mistakes.

The defense needs more sacks and turnovers. The offense needs to learn how to get plays in with everyone on the same page. The confusion was ridiculous even on the 4th down play that would've won it. Nobody seemed to know the play - AFTER A TIMEOUT. Inexcusable.

I have been begging for this for at least 3 years. Almost everytime this offense runs the hurry up, no huddle they move the ball and get huge chunks of yardage. I wish we did it more often.

Dude, it's *****' preseason. If there's any resemblance, it's purely coincidence.

Ayuh. This team is not championship caliber. Romo had a good stat line and Miles Austin is the real deal. Witten will continue to be a great receiving tight end and Dez Bryant might even prosper here. But we are an average team and the record will show that by year's end. My expectations for this team are back in the realist zone. We are 9-7, perhaps 10-6 this year. No better. Thats fine I guess. There will be lots of highlights and lots of lowlights. I'll just try to enjoy the good plays and small successes.

Play calling and Alex Barron was the problem.

Also too many penalties.

:hammer:

Alex Barron looked Rob Petit bad tonight. If columbo misses more than 2-3 games the rest of the season, we will be lucky to go 8-8. Garrett's play calling was equally bad...he seems to have no real feel for the game.

There's a website you can go to for that (if anyone still goes there). Not here.
