They just said on NFLN that the cowboys are supposed to make some kind of formal announcement around 2pm eastern time.

BAD radio was talking about how the local nbc 5 guys were yelling over the fence at jerry when he pulled up at the ranch and jerry looked back and said we have no announcement yet..

so we just wait! They are all out there like chocolate lab said, waiting like us.

From what I just saw on TV Phillips and Jones are still working on the contract and as soon as that is completed there should be a PC

Just watch Jerry Jones try to low ball Wade Phillips him Chicago did with Lovie Smith. Frankly I hope Smith does not agree to an extension and holds out until after 07 season to get the big bucks & maybe even goes elsewhere. Bet Bears fans will burn down Bears stadium if that happens.

I think it is a given Wade will not get the same contract as Parcells was getting. I don't think Jerry will low ball him and will find out soon enough when we compare Wade contract to other coaches in the league.

Lowballing HC candidates does not equal dedication to the team. IMO.

Maybe not but you don't throw money away either. I expect Jones and Phillips will work out a deal both are comfortable with. I don't expect that he will be one of the highest paid HC

Wade looks like he could put a real good dent in a buffet you know. I think that may be whats goin' on....
