Pressure building on Jerrah to get it done

With every highlight show Tony makes, with every big game and big play, the price has to be increasing. If Tony keeps this up then no contract is going to be bigger then the one he gets.

That is about the only potential negative about how Dallas is playing now.

The media can't go after TO, he's not newsworthy any more; Romo is clearly playing with mad skills and has a comeback for anything they throw at him. The "Camp Cupcake" story has probably got at least a couple of teams rethinking their TC philosophy.

All that's left is to go after the owner and bug him to see if he'll explode and give them something to write about.

There's probably more pressure on Jerry now than when he fired Landry.

everyone needs to quit wetting their pants over this...there is no timetable, there is no cutoff...it'll get done when it gets done, its not like he is unhappy here, cant stand his teammates, hates the coaches or the style of offense

I think Romo expects a big contract but I also think he loves this team and Dallas and won't allow his contract to prevent our keepings the players we need to continue to be a legit contender. Don't worry, I sincerely believe Romo wants to stay in Dallas and both he and Jerry understand that Jerry will take care of him for rest of his career. I'm sure Romo's talks with Aikman left no misunderstandings about how well Jerry will treat him.

So true. Sometimes, I believe that some fans do not fully realize just HOW wealthy Jerry Jones really is.

how many times does Jerry have to say Romo is not going anywhere? how many times does Romo have to say he feels they get something done when the time is right?

right now at 4-0 during the season its not time.

Cannot believe some people are thinking just about Jerrah's pockets- which are very deep and getting deeper. Its called the SALARY CAP. The more money romo gets the less there is to lock up other players and keep very good backups. THAT is what killed the 90s team- we kept the stars but were unable to keep the backups and very good role players. Those bleating about its no big deal if Romo gets a huge deal are JUST PLAIN STUPID.
