Pretty remarkable stat about the Cowboys in 2009

In 16 games, the Cowboys only allowed a 100 yard WR FOUR TIMES, and two of those times were against Giants WR Steve Smith. The other two were Mario Manningham and Vincent Jackson. That's pretty remarkable. Our defense is the main reason we are where we are right now. :starspin

Another remarkable stat is that we have allowed 2 TDs in the past 3 games, and 4 TDs in the past 4 games.

Also, we've held opponents out of the endzone 11 out of the last 12 quarters played. The offenses were no slouches...including the Saints and Eagles.

That formula will win a lot of games in this league.

Good stat. That's domination right there. Even back in 07' there were times where Romo and the offense had to outscore teams because the D would give up big plays and points at the worst times. Now I feel pretty confident if we get anywhere from 21-28 points, we'll win the ballgame.

Correction...Cowboys did not allow an individual rusher rushing for 100 yards, the team has given up 100 yards or more combined, just not to an individual rusher.
