Pretty solid start

If you look at the replay, where Williams caught the ball and where Cromartie was, Williams would've been out of bounds at the 48 yard line, which would've been a 68 yard attempt. I love Bailey but he's not making a 68 yarder.
And Williams wasn't scoring a TD or getting any further down field.

Not Seatlle in 2012
Rare exceptions to the rule. You can probably name a few starting rookies on good NFL teams. Last year Winston was on a team that was blown out by another rookie QB in his first game. And he looked awful.

I don't get how you can say the sky is falling after a one point loss to a solid team in the NFL.

No, there's still plenty of season left. But the Cowboys were 4-12 last year losing games like this. Most games are decided by a score or less. If you want moral victories, you're six years too late.

had a bad feeling when we went on three loooong drives and only came away with 9 points.

You only get so many shots with a rookie and a defense playing with that passion.

If he would have angled to the sideline I think it would have been 60+.

I agree, but blaming this loss on Williams is dumb, If anything, Dez with his disappearing act is more to blame.
I agree, but Baily is at the least a chance. Dez always disappears so I'm just used to it.

Cromartie was right there waiting for him though, it's easy for us to say "RUN OUT OF BOUNDS" but I think Cromartie still tackles him inbounds if he tried to go out.

Dallas lost a lot of games because the offense couldn't move the ball. QB play was awful. I don't really feel that way after week 1. I'm not sure Dak will be Romo good but he can keep the ship afloat. Hopefully we get to around .500 by the time Romo comes back. Playoffs can be realistic if that happens.

Anbody else calling for Leary over Collins??

That's why he wasn't traded, Vernon ate him up!

Jason Garrett better tighten up the screws on the ship this year or it might be his last year being sailing it.
