On the surface, Price seems to be the easy choice to fill the void of Crayton. However, Cooper is tough on special teams, therefore, BP may go with Cooper in the 3rd receiver spot........remember last year, Cooper had some bright spots at receiver.........we may go with more 2 TE sets and let Witten take some of the routes that Crayton used......Witten has enough speed to get a little space.:starspin

I agree with you on some points but I would like to have Key moved inside to the slot and Price on the outside with Glenn. Having KJ and Witten work the inside and PP and TG work the sidelines and deep.

Copper. :D

Both he and Price will have to step in to fill the void.

I think Copper may get some increased playing time, but Price will get the bulk of Crayton's snaps.

Copper is already dressing out because of special teams so that still allows Dallas to get Price out on the field. My own opinion there is no contest of who the better WR is Price hands down is a much better WR

The only way Copper sees the field as a WR is if Price goes down..

Price is our #3 WR and WILL be a play maker...

Write that down!

Until I hear about Flozell's condition I'm wondering if they will even be able to afford to activate Price because if Flo cant go and we don't IR Crayton then someone will have to be cut (I'm not suggesting it will be Price) so we can pickup another tackle and then that guy will be activated for the next game or two depending on Flo's status. So BP will still use his same logic for not using Price.

I'd bet too that Key moves inside. Parcells has said he's good in the slot and he's a good blocker. Glenn will continue to draw doubles, so Price can play the X receiver position that made him so successful in Buffalo (where he caught passes from whom?).

If Copper was all that he would have been playing ahead of crayton. It is time for Price to take the field. It is an exciting thought of two WR that can stretch the field. This should open up the middle of the field a little more for Witten and Keyshawn.

Price is going to get a ton of catches in this offense. Bledsoe trusts him immensely and will go to him without hesitation when he's open.

I doubt if he even looks at Copper when he's in on offense.

I think we should play Copper at WR a little bit to see what he has. Price will only be here this year, so he is just a stop gap player. I would not be surprised to see BP give Copper more snaps to see if he has something other than a ST's player. BP does look to the future when he can, so it will be interesting to see how the snaps get distributed.

That's a hard one. I would say Price, hands down, but since Copper is one of our best ST players, & gets a ton of tackles, BP will be leaning his way. My guess is that Price wasn't Bill's choice, and Copper will get the call.

If Price has a good season who is to say he will only be here this season? Copper made this team because of special teams not because he is a top WR

I was thinking now BP has a decision to make about Ratliff maybe taking Crayton's spot.......Ratliff would help the defense line rotation.

I subscribe to the obvious, I guess. I assume that Price will become the #3 receiver, with Copper essentially doing exactly what he's already been doing, while working even more in practice in case someone else goes down.

Its silly even to think Copper could be #3, the guy has no value as a receiver. Strictly a special teams guy.
