I do think he could be a fine addition to our WRs and a great speed insurance but if he wants a bunch of money... no thanks Peerless.

He already finagled a huge contract outta ATL which he never earned. He should be thankful for that and move on quietly. He should know that he can't be any better than a solid #2 for any team and joining any team this late is not going to give him a starting spot immediately anywhere.

I don't know what he is looking to get but if he wants a ton of money, I say, "Good Luck" and "So Long".

Glenn, Johnson, and Crayton is a complete and very able WR trio. I'd like to add at least one more guy for insurance similar to T. Glenn but not at a hefty "Price".

I agree 100%.

If he's at a discount, then you always take a solid player like Price up, but if he's gonna cost you too much when he pays at a position that really isn't a weakness, then you move on.

Keyshawn.
He doesn't have the total package but he IS a great posession guy and a formidable blocker. The #1 WR is generally lined up on the right side and being that that is the strong side when rushing, it's best to have your best blocking WR there as well. Also, the quickest, most sure pass you can throw is a quick slant to your #1 WR on the right side when you are a right handed QB so that corresponds with Keyshawn's location.

The Football lesson was not needed. Just curious on your opinion.

So with Glenn on one side (Lets consider him the #1 at this point for argument sake), and Price on the other, throw Keyshawn in the slot, and Witten on the end. Hmmm...

That could be pretty decent.

Keyshawn is an excellent blocker, and it would stretch the field for Jones.

I expressed the other day that I dont think that the Cowboys need any receivers. The corps that you have are very complimentary.

But with further thought another speedy weapon would possible open things up nicely.

The thing is that Price is a WC offense WR.

The Pats, and Eagles are interested.

Calm down there...

I didn't mean to come across like that. The "football lesson" was just a way of answering your question and giving my opinion on it. I figured if I just said Keyshawn, someone might respond asking why?. So I went ahead and gave my logic behind it beforehand.

I have a feeling that NE signs Price. They'll probably give him one of the better chances to play sooner and I'm sure playing for a Championship team would be more appealing than anything else.

The Eagles just signed McCants from WAS. Not saying they wouldn't add another but they did just add a WR yesterday.

Sorry Bro, I didnt mean for it to come across that way. The wording was bad.

McCants doesnt fit the WC offense very well. I wish him the best, but never liked him as much as most Commanders Fans. His separation skills are weak, and although he has size his hands arent incredible. He is a lazy player which is exactly what FredEx was.

NE makes the most sense. Go to a top notch team with a system that plays to players strengths, not to mention having a very good QB running the system.

Again, I apologize (Which is rare for me). :)

No problem.
My bad as well.

I always liked McCants. I thought he was way underused and everytime he did play, he made things happen.
I never really paid much attention to his effort and running but when the ball came his way, he made some spectacular grabs and caught it always.
I've also heard mixed reviews on his attitude but the fact is, WAS has been lacking at that position for a while and he always made plays when given the opportunity.

didn't New England just trade for Andre Davis, in addition to already having a pretty good two-some in branch and Givens? idk, I don't think he signs with NE, plus they are a little strapped for cash, we could offer him more, and maybe give him a better chance to get in position to see some playing time, maybe if the chance is even, we still could offer him more money, I think Dallas is his more likely destination, we offered as much as he wants, just not enough years, he may find it his best offer and accept, or that's my feeling anyways...

Yea, Commander, you'd like that- a disgruntled demoted Keyshawn at #3 and an injured (by november) #1 in Glenn. Lol.

say what?! he really did well in WC offense in ATL
Who cares you don't need a true #1 WR the patriots have proven that 3 years in a row. The Ravens as well.

Actually Price doesn't seem to fit the WCO. When Mora brought in the WCO to Atlanta Price's numbers dropped and they weren't playing WCO in buffalo with Bledsoe.

And QD...doesn't Keyshawn normally line up on the left...not the right? Glenn normally plays the right side as the flanker outside of the TE while Key plays the split-end on the left.

True but you do need a receiving corp that can at least withstand the demand of a full season. TG is an injury waiting to happen and age is only making KJ more likely to sustain an injury, especially how he plays the game.

With that said, you need a stud that regardless of the missing pieces to the receiving corp, can still get the job done. When you don't have a stud receiver you are only as good as the sum of your total parts and if the worst should happen and we lose TG for a good amount of time, we have no one who can really step up performance wise and put the game on his shoulders and become a force.

Some may say the PP could be that receiver but I haven't seen him do it yet.
