The Dallas Cowboys fans are seeing this play out before their eyes with the franchise.
So the latest: FIRE THE COACH is now Jason Garrett. Before was Dave Campo, then Chan Gailey
followed by Wade Phillips and the site are now The Clapper.
Not saying keep Garrett because the evidence Garrett is a 8-8 type coach.

Answer me this:
Steelers are now down to their 3rd string QB, lost their starting RB and WR and have the same record as Dallas.
Saints lose their starting QB, don't have Mark Engram and just one good WR. Lost their entire left side of OL and have one of the best records in the NFL.
Patriots have no WRs to talk about other than a good slot guy. Average RB at best and no name guys on the defense other than CB Gilmore and have just one loss.

Meanwhile, in Dallas, if just 1-2 starters are out, chaos/concern grips Cowboys fans. Imagine if Dallas lost Dak, Zeke and Cooper. The Cowboys would be like the Bengals because this franchise lacks coaching. Hence, Garrett is going to be the sacrificially lamb......again. I say again, because the blame will fall on the coaching and not the really problem----the GM.

We live in a time where it is not your responsibility but someone elses. People want the gov't to take care of them because they can't. When a team loses, many times it is either the coaches or the refs fault. Locally, areas are losing referees because of the blame them mindset, not any number of other plays where the players screwed up. The players can make errors but sure hell not the referee.

So now, the Dallas screw--NEW COACH--NEW COACH (or new puppet, new puppet) and again, eventually, a new puppet will be walking the Dallas sideline and fans will be temporarily fan again, only to keep living in NeverNeverLand to the fact it is the owner that sets the culture.

Dallas fans hear it quite often, when they leave Dallas how the drama is so much less. It is more about football and not about being a celebrity. Jerry is a business guy and is selling a product, the Dallas Cowboys. He wants stars so to put butts into his expensive seats and get his team on TV as much as possible. Jerry even said it himself that if he was the GM of the NY Yankees., the owner would have fired him long ago for under performing but there Jerry still sits as the Cowboys GM. As smart of a business man Jerry is, he really is a stupid owner because he will not change. If it was working, fine but is has not for 25 years and the puppets will change, the results will not.

Dallas will not see a Superbowl until Jerry joins Al Davis.........period.

Not to nit-pick, but the Steelers are on their 4th string QB. They traded their 2nd stringer (Dobbs) right before Ben went down. They also lost Stephon Tuitt for the season back in Week 6.

Blaming the GM for a coach that can’t coach? Those teams you mentioned all have coaches. That’s why they are winning in spite of the injuries. Our team loses the LT and it all falls apart. Jerry’s issue is and always has been loyalty. That’s the problem. This bum should have never been given this long.

Jerry owns the team and the team is making him lots of money as the most valuable sport club in the world. He is not going to sell the team no matter what.

As for the coaching, as much as Jerry has his share on what has been going on, he also has brought together a pile of very talented players in the last years. They were simply wasted by the head coach.

He assembled a talented roster for a lame duck coaching staff.

P.R.I.D.E.

Pure Ridiculous Incredible Depressing Environment

That is what this team has become for the fans.

That is off the top of my head, feel free to change / expand upon the words.

As big a problem as coaching is the way Jerry builds a team. Almost all focus is on the starting 22 (being generous including DTs and Safeties in there) and very little attention or resources spent on depth that will give insurance against injuries and fill the pipeline of players to draw from in future seasons. Any normal number of injuries have a much greater impact than it does for many other teams.

And while all GMs hope they make it through the season with no significant injuries and that their starting 22 perform at the level they did in their best season - Jerry builds as if he expects it. He also assumes players trending up one season will continue that trend the next.

That kind of optimism is fine, but you can't build a team with rose colored glasses on. You have to put the time and resources in to build players for future seasons.

we have become "the fighting Jerry Jones' " as a ball club. May as well change the logo on the field and helmets to Jerry's face. No team fears playing us. They know we will fold. We never ever live up to standards and are poor coached, and the scheme doesn't fit the players. Complicit ineptitude abounds..from Jerry and Stevie down to the trainers and coaches. No player on the roster is playing like their job depends on it.

Aven,,its true, JG needs to be gone,, but we keep repeating the same line, same story.
Problem is mush deeper, so much higher than just the failures OF JG,, so much deeper, that's what is sad.
I don't see this team ever getting better, until Jerry is gone, maybe not even better after that.
Will Stephen be a better owner? Make wiser decisions? Does the apple fall far from the tree?
I know these are harsh comments, but reality is harsh.

Sometimes you have to throw your hands up and say aslong as Jerry keeps Garrett my sundays are free to whatever else interest me

i spent my thanksgiving watching Tokyo Ghoul only reason i knew the score is because my friend texted me

I will get my PRIDE back once we get a new coach.

Then the off season will be something to watch, look for the changes for the better. Have hope of being better going into TC.

If Garrett and this same or many of the same staff is there, it will be a very long off season with no hope.

If somehow, by dumb luck we get to the playoffs, then to the NFCCG, and Garrett is retained, that still will not instill confidence in me they will then get to the SB the following year. It will be by luck as the Giants did twice. Not because of coaching.

We don't need any additional proof. We've seen Garrett's results over a decade. Enough of the BS

^^^THIS^^^ Hopefully not another puppet. Its not just coaching btw..scheme is awful defensively too. Marinelli must go..and Maybe even Richard. Wholesale changes are needed.

I read somewhere that Witten was talking about making plays and yadda yadda yadda...My first thought was, where the heck has he been for 3 weeks?!!! He hasn't done anything, but drop passes and be a non factor! Its the pot calling the kettle black! Tired of him actually. I want him gone after the year.

What's sad is the Cowboys have only been a top 2 seed twice since 1995. Once with a Parcells built team that Wade squandered away quickly. The other is when Dak and Zeke took the league by surprise. Coaching matters.

lets all do something productive with our lives each Sunday instead of wasting our time in the cesspool of Cowboys defunct ineptitude. Its no longer worth my time. Our team has become a laughing stock. I will begin watching when we have big changes in coaches and scheme..not a minute before.I aint drinkin the Jerry Jones Kool aid. No sale Jerry...YOU SIR ARE AN ABOMINATION AND A CLUSTER bleep. Retire..sell the team..SOMETHING!

Jerry underestimates fans. He thinks he can fool us all. The way he yammers and now cries is all an act. He is selling an idea..a pipe dream that just won't happen. He likely doesn't even buy what he himself is telling us. He is full of crap,PERIOD. He is buying time because he doesn't wanna fire Garrett. He knows what he must do and likely already has the next puppet lined up.

He has actually hurt the offense this year IMO.
Yes he had some plays of the Witten of old, but he also should not have been on the field when Jarwin should have been. Which actually hurt the team.

This is another Jerry / Jason emotional friends, sell merchandise ploy, maybe, maybe not. But I think he was partly a progress stopper. Unless Jarwin and Schultz learned from his work ethic which is the one thing he still probably has.
