I've been watching the Cowboys since 1977 and after Sunday's game against the Skins, this season is starting to have resemblance to the Political Campaigns of Obama and Mcain. Both Parties blame each other for economic downfall and neither are in office. Obama and Mcain are shoveling millions of dollars worth of horse crap in our noses playing the blame game, yet neither are in office. Is Bush going to say it was his leadership that caused the turmoil? NO! Why? It is because of the deadly sin of pride.

Pride causes the one in charge to keep things going as usual even if he or she knows it will achieve the same results that cause failure. This is what I saw in Garrett's play calling and Stewart's overall game plan. I hope Garrett and Stewart don't start endorsing themselves like the candidates are. Phillips needs to put the blame on himself.

That's why teams don't go undefeated-once or twice a year, coaches and coordinators will get into that trap of thinking their ways are always the best, and don't adjust accordingly. No different from a QB making a bad decision, a WR running a bad route, an OL missing a block, etc.

We'll be fine.
