Unbelievably, it's true. The priest claimed he was joking (and I'm sure he probably was), but talk about a lack of common sense and judgment...the stupidity levels of some people are difficult to fathom.

An update on the story had the Priest still in jail because he hadn't posted the $15K bail. Guess his parishioners didn't feel compelled to come to his aid.
