I am pretty sure if Deion were hired he would want to choose his own assistants. He’s not letting anyone pick and choose his assistants. In fact, any head coach worth hiring will have their own guys in mind. We just need Jerry to hire the right head coach and let that coach pick his own guys.

Personally I’d bring in a guy like Johnson, let him pick his staff. But Jerry won’t do that. I think being as Jerry is making the decisions bill is about as good a choice as any Jerry would make. Mike isn’t a bad coach but he doesn’t scheme to the strength of the offense. We only have one WR who can get open on his own. But he forces the others to have single coverage and a well designed play could get them open more. They don’t have the talent to get open on their own so you have to scheme them open. I love watching Lions offense because they create mismatches every play

I would definitely let the next head coach pick his staff. All the QBs on our staff limit any coaches philosophy with each having different limitations. As many needs as we have, QB is the biggest. We’ve got to take a chance on 1-2 in the next draft not in round one. The QB class is weak this year so it may be the 2026 or 2027 draft before we get our guy. This team is too far off for a one year build. Focus on DT, RB, WR and OL in the next 2 drafts. FA would be nice but we have wannabes running the show. This is all a pipe dream with Jerry. He just wants to stay relevant every year but a rebuild is needed. The next head coach has a job ahead of him. He has an entire culture to change and that’s IF Jerry lets him do it.

A guy that’s never coached a day in the NFL or anywhere without his kids on his team. Two guys that were NFL head coaches and were fired. And a current asst. head coach who has to be looking to get away from the hootenanny that is the Dallas Cowboys. Why would anyone want to work for Jerry Jones when the could work for the University of Colorado, Ohio State University, or simply collect $3.5 million per year from his previous employer for the next two years?

Many fans, like Jerry, just like the attention. Winning a SB is way down the list.

This is prime is perfect he is the one you who has a bigger ego and star than Jerry. Jerry will have no choice but to bow to prime for whatever he wants from Jerry to win
