per everywhere... I'm hearing the contract is 9 yr $214 million. Wow!!!

Damnit. Sucks for my Twins.

Have to deal with Prince AND Miguel now...ugh..

Miggy is playing 3rd. hahahaha they have the worst defensive infield ever.

Maybe ... but man they will be able to hit the long ball. (juicing?)

At that price, I'm a relieved Rangers fan.

Prince will go 3 bills by the time he is thirty.

The auto industry may be down in Detroit, but their restraunt business is about to explode.

Too bad. The Cubs should have made a play at him.

It was Daddy's team. Prince may have grown up in Detroit.

Prince and Cecil are not on speaking terms. So, I know it has nothing to do with being Daddy's team. :laugh2:

Actually, both Ford and GM are in the black again.

Me too. Never really thought they would spend that kind of money anyway, but if they had thoughts about it the Darvish signing killed them.

You missed the point. I wasn't saying he was motivated by love for his father, I was saying he may have partly been motivated because he spent part of his youth in Detroit and likely around the Tigers clubhouse. Not having a fondness for his father doesn't mean he may not have developed a fondness for the city and team.

His father was great.

He helped Yankees come back and win down 2-0 against Atlanta in 1996.

The son is even better. A great catch for Detroit.
