I dont think you should earn the Pro-Bowler distinction if you are selected because someone else says no thanks. Instead of playing a football game, I think they should do a skills challenge, like a combine. And it should coincide with draft weekend, like a Wednesday Night game or something, so everyone can participate.

In the middle of the offseason, you want to bring in all these star players for a skills challenge? Good Luck.

I only care about one outcome in the pro bowl. Get out healthy, and because Lee never knows how to dial it back or mail it in, I'll be especially relieved if he gets through it healthy.

I will have it on, but won't be paying 100% attention to it.
Will do some work around the house as I watch it.

Same here, I almost feel obligated to at least have it on, but I couldnt really care less about it....its good for a chuckle here and there, and to remind me that I really need to get my butt in gear to plan a trip to Hawaii since Ive never been.....but ultimately, its just gonna be background noise.....

I still say go back to AFC Vs. NFC....have it after the Super Bowl, maybe a month before the draft...winning conference teams automatically "win the coin toss" when playing a team from the losing conference the next year, pre-season and Super Bowl included....petty as it may be, at least its somethin to play for......maybe even have it apply to OT games between AFC-NFC teams as well.....

I think it has to be after the Super Bowl.These guys used to "work" for the week and then spend another week out their with the family.Now everyone has to get back for the Super Bowl.

It was much better when they had all the best players there and did the challenges and celebrity games all week.For once forget about the ratings and think about your players. Now over 120 players have been named Pro Bowlers because no one wants to go.

My idea is to add a Draft Lottery to halftime if you want to add viewers.
Draft Lottery would have all 20 teams that miss the playoffs but no one could move more than 10 spots. It would get rid of dumping and trying to lose games.

There were 47 healthy scratch players for the pro bowl, including all 7 NE Patriots. This will probably be the end of the pro bowl.

And it should be.

Have a vote, determine who desrves recognization. and leave it alone.
