It's easy to see why the Eagles have never won a SB, 2 of their former RB's, Murray and McCoy both made the probowl...and I'm glad they are both in the AFC now.

Sean Lee not making the pro bowl has to be one of the bigger tragedies in sports history. I'm not kidding. I would probably have him as a top 3 defensive player of the year candidate right now. I'm actually in shock.

Voters like to see splash turnover plays. Lee had 0 interceptions, 0 forced fumbles, and just a single pass defensed.

It's possible that hurt him?

It's a joke that he's not included, but a tragedy? Wouldn't go that far.
Oh it's a tragedy alright. Now that I think of it, who should be ahead of him in defensive player of the year voting? Probably Bobby Wagner, Von Miller, and Khalil Mack. That's it.

That's my best guess as well. He's a stud, but his stat line (other than tackles) isn't all that sexy.

But still, it sounds like he did fine with the fan voters, which makes it all the more bizarre that he was omitted.

Not crazy at all. Dak has played better. If all that mattered was pure stats then there would be zero point to even having a vote.

They were commenting on Brees last night on the show. I understand the argument for Brees, but just because your team does not need to pass and play catch up all game should not diminish a players performance because he was not required to do so.

It's a crime that Lee didn't make the Pro Bowl... SMH

He didn't have an INT for the first time in his career and no sacks plus he didn't have a pass defense after having 5 last season. Makes a lot of good plays that don't show up on the stat sheet plus we have an average defense.

Still not sure how Dak made it when half the posters here wanted him benched last week.

Half the posters here if not more still want to go back to Romo. They want 300 yard games and 2-4 TD passes every week regardless how many INT's are thrown.

What a jip!!! No Lee pffft

He made a lot of plays but no picks for the first time in his career and only one pass defense which is the fewest of his career. In 14 games last season he had 2.5 sacks, 5 PDef's and one INT.

To be fair, I don't think it's even close to half. I think it's an extremely vocal minority.

If you look at the polls that have been started, it's been pretty split most of the season. The latest poll just over a week ago had Dak ahead but there were still a lot of posters wanting Romo to take over.

We had 5 pro bowlers and 13 in 2007. That could be why that team got so full of itself.

True, but typically people who have a negative view on something are more inclined to actually interact on a subject.
