Westbrook 1,756 total yards 11 TD
Tiki Barber 1,782 total yards 2 TD

But Tiki is retiring and needs to be reunited with his brother for one last Pro Bowl...

Eh...the only RB on that list you could argue against would be Tiki, but its his last season in the NFL and he is on pace to break 2K total yards again. Westbrook still hasn't played a full season, and has cracked 1000 yards for the first time in his career. He's too much of a hybrid RB/WR to ever be voted in at one position - the same problem Cooley had last year being listed as a FB.

Jackson has something like 1916 yards from scrimmage. He has 1239 rushing. He has 10 TDs thus far. Excuse me if I laugh at the though you present in Jackson being the odd man out. Westbrook is having a great year but unfortunatly, the others are having better years in the eyes of the voters. Simple as that.

Jackson is having a much better year than Westbrook. Westbrook is best when he's catching passes out of the backfield; well Jackson has 8 more catches than Westy does. He's a better blocker, a better between-the-tackles runner, and can be leaned on at the end of the season.

Oh, and for you Eagles fans - between the tackles means running between the left and right offensive tackles; through the offensive line. I know you've never seen that before, but its not your fault; blame Andy Reid.

In fact, a power running game is the one consistent thing that ALL superbowl champions have had. The Eagles will never succeed in January with Westbrook as their primary back. If Buckhalter can continue to stay healthy, then maybe they can make some noise. But without a power running game, teams get bounced from the playoffs in January; its a fact.
