I saw the commercial for the Pro Bowl, it's become the most embarrassing thing ever associated with the NFL ever. Just give the players that deserve it the Pro Bowl nod but don't have any kind of clown event.

Fans might view him as an embarrassment but the NFL initially fought him but eventually learned that he is a money maker for the NFL.

Name recognition goes a long way with the voters. It's also why a lot of guys earn it and don't get it until they repeat the second year.

If you watch football they are. Every broadcast it's mentioned at least 5 times that Bland has the record for pick 6's in a season and Aubrey hasn't missed a kick.

Yup, and having a reliable kicker is vital. Not every drive can end in 7, so having a kicker that is fairly automatic makes a big difference. Especially since most games come down to 3 points or less.
