Remember, this is just the fan voting, which doesn't mean a whole lot --

Romo sixth at QB
Murray first at RB
Bryant fourth at WR
Witten seventh at TE
Frederick first at C
Martin first at OG
Leary third at OG
T.Smith first at OT
Free fourth at OT
Clutts fifth at FB

Melton eighth at DT
McClain fifth at ILB
Wilcox 10th at SS
Church fourth at FS

Bailey second at K
C.Jones seventh at P
Harris sixth at KR
Health third at ST

I am really surprised Martin is the leading vote getter at G. I know he deserves it but you wouldn't think a rookie OL would have the name recognition for this popularity contest.

The voting at guard seems like more of a team thing this year. The two Cowboys are first and third. The two Packers are second and fourth. The two Broncos are fifth and sixth.

During the prime time games the announcers go out of their way to talk about Tyron, Fred, and Martin.

I'm really surprised that Leary is so high. He definitely deserves it but he's far from a household name. He doesn't have the recognition the first rounders have. Doug Free, on the other hand, has been in the league long enough that people have probably heard of him.

When you have an unheralded RB running away with the lead in league rushing, it reflects well on the line. Plus, I have noticed a number of times that Frederic and Martin are still hoofing it down the field during long touchdowns, and are often among the first few players to congratulate the scorers. Gets them a few brownie points in more than just my book apparently.
