Pro Football Hall of Fame announces semifinalists for coach, contributor, seniors

Both Howley and Walls should have already been in. But I think they only choose one senior each year.
There are some pretty good players on that list though.

Hopefully we can get one more in this year.

Voting board committee and panel need to push the numbers of senior candidates and contributors up just for the very reason of the current ages of
the old schoolers,.. Dan Reeves may he rest in peace, won't have the emotional cherished honor of experiencing HOF self- speech and presentation because he
was only on this long wait line that has lasted decades upon decades upon decades ...

i'd still bet if not for sympathetic live TV footage of a disappointed, teary eyed Pearson, he'd still be in that same damn cobwebbed forever long waiting list.
It's utterly ridiculous .

Chuck Howley Is now 86 years old. I hope to goodness they let him in so that he can enjoy it.

Bittersweet for family, former teammates, fans, etc. when a player (along with coaches and contributors) are honored postumously.
Bob Hayes and Kenny Stabler are two that come to mind.

My bet is Howley will get in this time.

It would be nice for him to be able to see the moment.
