For someone being in low regard in Dallas. Procter is getting a few invites:

Cory Procter visits Patriots
Aaron Wilson, The National Football Post May 19, 9:40 pm EDT

Cory Procter's NFL tour is bringing him all around the Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick coaching trees.

First, the recently released former Dallas Cowboys center visited the Denver Broncos, whose coach worked for Belichick in New England.

Today, he visited the Patriots, coached by none other than. Belichick.

His next destination is the Miami Dolphins, who are run by Parcells.

And Parcells first brought Procter to Dallas when he signed him off the Detroit Lions' practice squad.

So, Procter should wind up employed soon enough.

Proctors next visit is with McDonald's for an interview for the position of junior deep fryer...I highly doubt he gets a job offer in the NFL, nothing more than a camp body.....He's a third stinger at best!! How he lasted as long as he had in Dallas is beyond me.

You know I don't understand this.

Proctor may or may not be good enough to play in the NFL... I think with some of the more respected coaches taking a look at him, he's probably not as bad as some make him out to be... but who am I to judge.

However, what in the world makes you think that if Proctor can't play football, the only thing he can do is work at McDonalds? I mean seriously...

We will all rue the day...book it!11!1!!

What's funny is that he's probably already made more money playing football than you'll make in your lifetime.

Just as long as someone else signs that dud before our coaches go back on the bong and take him back.

It undoubtedly speaks to several things, none of which are that we "let a good one get away".

First, look at who he is visiting. Miami, Denver and New England. All are part of the Coach Parcells tree. Sparano had him for several years after he was signed off Detroit's practice squad.

Second, there is a distinct lack of younger and experienced (and somewhat cheap) linemen available at this time of year. The fact Procter is getting looks should not be shocking.

He sounds more popular than Adams.
Younger, cheaper and has no illusions about starting. Of course he is going to be more popular. And note he is making the rounds in the Parcells clique. When I see Procter make a whirlwind tour of the rest of the NFL not part of that group, I might reconsider that we let a talent walk.

Adams isn't really the kind of guy you sign right now. Teams pretty much know what he is. He's a seasoned vet who a team will sign just prior to camp, or during camp after an injury.
