(CNN) -- It may have been a vicious murder or the unintentional result of a lover's quarrel. Either way, the death of a Texas college professor stands out for the weapon the killer allegedly used: one of her own stilettos.

Ana Lilia Trujillo, 44, is charged with murder for striking Alf Stefan Andersson "with a deadly weapon, namely a shoe," Houston police say in the official complaint against her.

Andersson, a research professor from the University of Houston, had 10 puncture wounds on his head -- some as deep as an inch and a half -- and 15 to 20 puncture wounds along his face, arms, and neck, prosecutors say, according to CNN affiliate KTRK.

He should have told her like David Lee Roth would have

"I like the little way the line runs up the back of the stockings
I've always liked those kind of high heels, too, ya know I...
No, no, no, no don't take 'em off. Don't take...leave 'em on
Yeah, that's it...a little more to the right"

:laugh2:

I did chuckle at the first line of the article. If he was stabbed just once, just was unintentional, but with that many puncture wounds, no way she didn't mean to do it.

As I recall, his real name was Gordon Shumway.
But everyone called him "Alf" and he had to go into hiding (with fake name) to avoid capture by the NSA.

You don't hear it very often, but Alf is not a totally unusual name in Scandinavian countries like Norway, Sweden or Denmark. He had a Scandinavian name.

In Danish Alf also means elf.

You could maybe get away with saying you shot a guy 15 times by saying you were so panicked you just kept pulling the trigger until it stopped firing.
MAYBE

But stomping a guy 10+ times while he is on the floor?

and it could not be said you could miss the damage you were doing.

Somehow I do not think that will work very well in this case.

I think she would have to be all busted up herself to have any chance at self defense.

A woman who wants her legs to look good would disagree with you.

A woman who also wants to be in traction at the rip old age of 40 would probably disagree.

A woman can look great with or without them and I'd say without them is just fine. I'd rather have women healthy and without back issues personally but everybody sees things differently.

Stilettos are for wearing while sitting down...or whatever the couple was doing prior to the man's death.

I have quite a few pairs of high heels, but maybe one or two pairs of stilettos.

I tend to focus on long-term walkability. If my goal is to be able to walk from point A to B, then stilettos might get a run. But if it's to be able to stand for long periods of time, walk a bunch of places, or do a little dancing, then I'll find my lowest-heeled pair of shoes.
