I live in the DC/Baltimore Market.
Does anyone know if ESPN will air the Cowboys game, or black it out ?

Signed , distressed in the heart of enemy territory... :(

Wow, that would be some twist of fate, huh? Get it? Hurricane, twist?

That would suck. Texans-Ravens over Cowboys-Eagles? Oh, the horror.

That's why I bend over and agree to pay for Sunday Ticket. It's highway robbery, but at least I'm on the highway!

It is a National game. There will be no black outs of this game.

Is there some rule that you can't have anothers teams game on in your market at the same time , or something along those lines ?

By the way , Sunday Ticket is only for Sundays so I cant go to a Sports Bar either !!!!!!!!!

Generally on Sundays, but I would have to think that ESPN's Monday Night contract would usurp anything else. That's probably part of the deal, get one game, but a full national audience, no exceptions.

I could be wrong, but whoever is airing the Texans-Ravens game are probably the ones getting the shaft. Only die-hard Texans and Ravens fans would choose to watch that game, and do those even exist?

In Houston they are going to show both games no blackout.I would think the same applies to your area.

It's Monday Night Football dude!

They work hard to get desirable matchups on MNF. They are not going to preempt Dal/Phi to show your game. Most likely they'll pick it up and show it on ESPN2 or some such.

I live in the same area, they aren't going to black out anything. There is only one game on that channel at that time. You will be fine.

I lived in Louisiana during Katrina, and we had a MNF game for the Saints with NY Giants scheduled at the same time as the Dallas / Commanders game after Katrina. You may recall that this was the gift home game that the Giants got in 2005.

They showed the Dallas / Commanders game in entirity, and did not black it out. Both games were on ESPN, so ESPN used an alternate channel to air the first half of the Dallas / Commanders game.

This is the game where we choked, courtesy of Roy, in the final 2 minuts of the game and lost 14-13 to the Commanders.

Hope this helps. You will see the game in all markets.

The Baltimore vs. Houston game is going to be on CBS. Both are National games. ESPN has the Cowboys. No part of the country needs to be worried.

THis is not unpresedented, last time this happened NFL Network carried the game at the same time MNF or SNF was on, Not sure if it was when the aints played NY in NY after katrina or another team...

Thanks All for the good info !!!

Nice to know you can find Cowboys related help from your fellow Zoners !
