We laugh at Washington, but both those guys are plus pass players. Our #2 and #4 sack leaders last year, both playing on limited snaps. I have to believe that secondary of theirs gives up some big plays this season, but that front seven looks really good. I'd be shocked if DQ had the same issues against the run that he had in Dallas with those DTs and LBs.

People! It's only May! Freaking out about anything on this roster at this time of year is an overreaction.

I like how you do that you twist this around like it's OK because you think they have a lot of potential that we're being held back, if the Cowboys trotted it out those two as the starters this year,
you guys would absolutely break the Internet saying they went cheap, and they picked up people's hanger ons and made career backups into starters..

let's be clear that's what they're doing,

that line they had the last two or three years was way better than the line they have coming out this year that's my opinion but I'm pretty sure no one on that team is as good as sweat that dude is a monster in Chicago right now... They got rid of a lot of the dudes and didn't have to pay them and then they went and got cheaper guys to replace them and draft picks isn't that with Jerry does but he gets no credit for it he's called cheap Stephens like dumpster diving they went after people's backups and it doesn't replace what they've been over the last Four Seasons they literally had one of the top three defensive lines and now they don't...

And you know how I know you guys would do that cause y'all are freaking out that we lost some backups and replace them with guys we believe will match their production because they're we're behind them and that would be Sam Williams and possibly a draft pick and whatever we have you know like even Mazi everyone's worried about him being a starter but somehow you giving credit to Washington for going out and getting people's backups and making them into starters again if we did that here which we have in some cases y'all would just break the Internet you would ruin this place you already have we already seen what you think about what they did in the offseason...

Well in that case we get to say Sam Williams is going to be an all pro this year, I mean he's gonna take a giant step up because he's being held back LOL hey it's going to be OK for Washington to project out our starters, we should be able to project out their replacements... ;)

Are we playing a 4-2 this year?
It’ll likely be Overshown - Kendrick’s - Liafau / Parsons.

Liafau and Clark will be depth when Parsons is playing edge. 1 rookie likely takes over the last spot

Not true at all, I didn't speak of potential whatsoever, not did I even bash the Cowboys. Armstrong has 16-18 sacks over the last two seasons depending on the source so I'm not sure what the official number is. Regardless that's a legitimate starter in this league, and he's someone I was rooting for us to resign since the offseason began. Fowler I'm not nearly as high on, but he's proven to be a reliable rotational piece. Would I rather have our DE group than Washingtons? Absolutely. I'd also rather have our secondary. On the flip side I'd much rather have their DT and LB room.

Just because I don't bash every other team in the division and talk up the Cowboys to go 17-0 every year doesn't mean I'm twisting anything. I'm just calling it like I see it.

I can only guess what DQ has in mind for that defense this year, but with the players they have I would almost anticipate a similar cover 3 based scheme he used in Seattle. He's got really good veteran players at both levels up the middle. Certainly lacks a Micah Parsons type of chess piece, but all their front 7 guys are capable of getting to the QB. That secondary is rough, but they have good size at CB with Michael Davis and St-Justie being 6'2+ 200lbs corners. I don't know much about their secondary at all aside from Chinn, but given the size of these guys I see a whole of to press coverage at the LOS with double safety help. I wouldn't just expect this is the Dallas defense copied and pasted in Washington at all. I could be way off there, but I'm very intrigued by what Washington is building on the defensive side of the football, and I wouldn't sleep on them this year....especially if that young QB shows anything.

First of all Google's your friend yes Armstrong has 16 sacks the last two years but over six years 23.5 sacks yes he's gotten better but this goes with the standard thinking that because of when they came in the game because they weren't looked at as the threat as the starter it's going to be a lot different when they're on the field on almost every snap on how they're blocked and whatnot... And again, I believe Sam Williams could do the very thing that Fowler or Armstrong was doing or let's just say Sam's going to replace Armstrong and I think he's going to do it as long as he keeps his nose clean off the field and I believe one of the other guys on our team probably our new draft pick can easily replace Fowler... But they have literally taken our backups and tried to make them starters we still have our starting pass rushers...

I'm telling you what it looks like from the outside is they're trying to turn two backups who are like third and 4th on our depth chart in the starters and that would not fly around here they would call people cheap they literally already do some of the guys we brought in like kendricks is no different than Fowler or Armstrong or a lot of the guys that they went and pillaged off our team by the way that looks like they're trying to build Dallas east over there in Washington because of familiarity which also didn't we call that we like our guys and what was the other word nepotism so Dan Quinn brought some of his guys from Atlanta over here now he's brought a bunch of dudes from Dallas over there he must like our guys a lot because he saw them play on a team that got demolished in the playoffs and they brought him over and put them as starters on his new team....:muttley::lmao:

I think Armstrong is going to have a big year with the tackles they have.

To thine own self be true. We have to acknowledge our own deficiencies here in this forum

As fans we didn't create these situations but we should at least be honest to each other about them
I just don’t subscribe to the thought we can’t laugh or berate other teams because we are THE cowboys. Jerry built this team not us lol. Eagles can win a ring and still suck lol.

I do laugh that the Commanders because I really thought at the least we were bringing those guys back and hoped we looked at Frankie Luvu but jokes on me I guess lol.
