Agreed. It’s going to take a miracle for Simi Fehoko to make the final 53. Jalen Brooks is already ahead of him.

Also think TJ Bass may make this team and there is a chance they cut Josh Ball. Also could see them cut bait with Kelvin Joseph.

as good a list as any. My 2 cents:

Micah is an Edge
Fowler could be the one guy that brings back something in a trade. Still can get the QB but is at least #5 on our depth chart
STs is why I think a lot of these are off.
McKeon is a good STs player and a great blocker. Does Stephen's play STs? Can't have a #4 TE that doesn't. I know everyone is giddy over Stephens after week 1 of the preseason but I think he is a PS guy. Don't need 4 receiving TEs
Goodwin is on the team for another year IMO because of his STs ability
That OL depth looks horrible. If Edoga isn't ready to start the year another veteran OL is a must. With our health issues going into the season with those backups will kill us.
I think either Bohanna or Gallimore makes the 53 and I think Fehoko is ultimately going to play DE almost FT or at least part time. So need another DT there and clearly the team purposely beefed up t stop the run.
I think Cox is on the team. Good STs guy and I think Jefferson is not on the 53.
I don't think we carry 6 safeties
I think Simi Fehoko is done here. Outside shot to make the team because of his STs play I guess

I don't see Joseph making the team. He pretty much commits a holding penalty in coverage whenever they throw at him.

Y’all need to rewatch the game. There is a reason in McCarthys press conference that he mentioned Josh Ball ran up and asked how he played after the game. The dude was the best G on the field by far. Better than Farniok. He’s translated to G really well.

6 Safeties and 4 LBs is unlikely. 14 WR/TE/RB is unlikely.

Goodwin almost certainly makes the roster, but other than I don't really disagree too much with the cuts/keeps, but just where the roster is long doesn't make much sense.

You wouldn't lose Stephens or Luepke, for example.

I think that Leupke is on the outside looking in. I also think that Josh Ball and Simi will also likely be on the outs in favor of Bass & Brooks respectively.

There is also a chace that Hendershot could be a surprising cut.

Otherwise, I think you pretty nearly nailed it.

That’s fair on Leupke and Simi but I think Ball will be here. I think Ball is just the guy casual podcasters talk about as being bad but I’d encourage watching him va the other IOL in the game. The dude was by far the best IOL in game 1. We will see about game 2/3
