Prometheus 2 electric boogaloo

Ok I remember making a thread where I vaguely discussed my displeasure of the first one. I actually did not watch it until 2014, but that movie was pretty obnoxious, I even read the two or three conspiracy wrap-ups of it to see how much I missed on the point of it.

I think the first was a cavalcade of a mess and the sequel actually might tighten up some of the BS we saw of the first, but I expect it to be more of same "huh what the..?" garbo for the most part.

Still surprised a couple of ppl here thought the first one was good. I mean not good to the Alien franchise, only redeemable as something to watch on its own.

Me and the wife always get a great laugh at the mention of anything with the words "breakin" or 'electric boogaloo" in them. That reminds me, were supposed to go see Joe Dirt 2 Electric Boogaloo this week.

I still remember watching the Bugaloos show. Good stuff. Miss those days of innocence.

I watched it on Blu Ray. I thought it was okay. Certainly not as bad as some folks made it out to be, but I didn't really judge it based on anything other than what they put on the screen, so maybe my expectations were dialed down more than some folks.

I actually enjoyed Prometheus. The main issue, for me, was the Aliens tie in and the forced action at the end of the movie - could have done without either. I don't mind having questions after a movie is over though, so that might be why.

Have you heard of the FanEdit of it called Giftbearer?
It makes the film so much more enjoyable and fixes some of the more face-palming moments.

Shoot- even the very beginning is much better! Give it a try, should you find it.
