Awesome, sitting here in Cannon Beach, Oregon vacationing hoping another Eli/Romo thread would happen. My week of relaxation is now almost complete :)

I would take Romo any day of the week over Eli. I have never thought Eli was worth a damn and ended up being lucky enough to have a Defense that could carry the team.

It seems like just a few years ago Polamalu was at or near the top of the list? How quickly things change.

Good showing by Dez though!

What a beautiful area. My old boss lives up there - retired now. I used to ride my motorcycle up through there and the Olympic peninsula. Breathtaking.

Amazing how far Russell Wilson has come in the past 3 years -- from 4th round pick at a primarily running school (Wisconsin) who was considered too short to play QB in today's NFL to today, two consecusive seasons of 100+ QB rating, Superbowl champion, #1 in NFL Jersey sales, etc.

Seems like a real nice guy too.

well that settles the controversy once and for all! Eli sells more jerseys than Tony, thus Eli>Romo....

and @perrykemp good post, Wilson has come a long way, which goes to show you what can happen in the right circumstances....

As long as you discount Eli's 2 World Championships..

Then yes..

Romo is better.

Yea, I thought Eli played great defense in those games...not to mention the trick shot off of Tyree's helmet to keep the Cinderella drive alive was a sight to behold

You know..

The thing is in those games that it's not about performing so well in those games..

..it's about not making more mistakes than the other guys that wins it.

I'll be the first to admit the Jints built the better defenses then than Dallas.

we were so enamored by TO and Roy Williams back then we forgot it took defense to win championships.
