Props to Crayton

I was so glad to see him have a solid night. I'm a big fan of PC and it was nice to see him have a solid night in this playoff game. So proud of this entire team tonight.

I'm content with what we have too.

But using a small sample size like that to try to make Crayton look better than Jackson is laughable.

Head to head its perfectly legit.

One is a #1, one is #3.

I don't think anyone is saying he is better than Jackson, but for a guy with all that flash, the blue collar guy definitely outperformed him today, and last week.

That's awesome, but Jackson was seeing double teams, while Crayton was being guarded by Joselio Hanson.

Crayton embarrassed Sheldon Brown on his touchdown catch last week. And most "Pro Bowl" receivers face plenty of double teams almost every week, but they somehow manage more than three catches for 14 yards.

The Eagles have better special teams than we do, according to the "experts."

Nobody said Crayton is better than Jackson. But he clearly was far more productive than Jackson over the past two weeks.

Jackson somehow was chosen for the Pro Bowl at two positions, and he did next to nothing at either position in the two most important games of the season.

Crayton is routinely a guy we fans look at as the first guy in the lineup that can be upgraded. Be it for Boldin, Roy, Josh Cribbs. His spot is always the one where we covet someone better.

Time for us all -- myself included -- to stop that. I think he might be our second best receiver right now, but is best suited for the slot -- a role he simply excels in, and it's time to view him as a fixture and not someone holding us back.

What do you mean 'us all'? There are people on the board who've recognized the value in Patrick Crayton all along. Don't lump us in with the ones who didn't or don't.

I didn't take it as intent to say Crayton was better then MeSean Jackson. I think it was just showing Cowboy fans that he's a pretty good player and just outperformed Jackson in the 3 games vs us.

I think because he played QB in college, Crayton is good at reading coverages and knows how to get open in zones. He also has great hands and can make tough catches. His punt returning has gone to a new level and he is one of the best in the league now - I think this must be due to Coach D.

I really like Crayton. I wish people would stop blaming him for the Giants loss. The biggest reason we lost the Giants game is the OL just collapsed in the second half. The other reason is the Giants really picked on Jacques Reeves.

Honestly, you couldn't ask for more from the role he's played. Always thought he was the perfect #3 receiver. He's turned into a good punt returner as well this year.

I agree. The role hes playing in now is where he excels the most.
