...High motor guy, tipped the pass that lead to Spencer's INT... Great to see a blue collar guy come up with a great play....against Philly, he had an AWESOME run-stuff play where he lowered his shoulder and rocked the pulling....yes, pulling guard who had momentum, to stuff the RB! Hope to see more plays, and a new contract.

I'm glad you brought up Bowen. He is improving by the week. We have some really solid young guys on D - Bowen, Butler, Jenkins, Spencer and even Ball has made some plays lately. I like what I see.

Yeah, funny part is I didnt miss Hamlin at all although Ball did blow a tackle or two.

This is a guy who clearly has worked hard to improve since he entered the league. He was a stringbean of a CB. He probably didn't have the coverage skills to be much of a CB but he has gotten bigger and stronger and looks like he can by a hybrid safety/CB sort of guy who also plays special teams. You neeed guys like this on your team.

Agreed!! Very nice to see a young, core group that is fast, aggressive, and getting PT

Hats off to the scouting dept on Bowen. Like to see the "try hard" guys make it.

totally agree, he is making some plays, even in the green bay game he forced a fumble but the packers recovered the ball.

Most likely next year, you will see the true Ball, after another offseasoning conditioning program of getting a little more bigger. Probably about 7 more pounds of muscle while keeping what speed and quickness he has, while learning more coverage skills and seeing offenses, Ball will bust out with a big year i think.

Jerry needs to tie this kid up with a new contract... he's made great plays all year...

So did our other starting safety.

might end up being a season saving play, as I noted in another thread...

if not for that play I have little doubt the Skins would have easily got another 30-40 yds and kicked a FG to win the game
