Yes the defense played well today. For sure.

I do think their performance today, highlights the lack of effort and intensity the last couple of weeks.

Tonight showed that the issues with tackling, and rallying to the ball, and holding up at the point of attack, have largely been issues with effort the last couple of weeks. Not being less talented than the bills or bears.

I've always liked sean lee but the defense has been trash for most of the season. They went up against a team who had the 23rd ranked rushing offense as little as two weeks ago and sported a piecemeal oline that lost several veterans after last season
