And that is why I don't understand all the Parsons was a bum who disappeared in big games. No one on defense played well in big games and you still expected Parsons to stand out?

LVN is also nice, and their lbs walker and cooper... they are stacked and thats not even talking about the secondary yet.

This is true. One player a defense does not make. And I hate the guy

Yeah the secondary is suppose to be their weak group but they seem to be ok. Especially with a pass rush. And they may have the best linebacker group in the league. I can’t think if a better group:

This is what the Cowboy Defense needs to do post Parsons, he is no longer there to bail them out and make an impact play. The defense has to come together and play well as a unit. Handle their own responsibilities and do not play hero football.

I think they started the season pretty well I mean we got the impact in the middle from Clark who was part of the trade even though they didn't set the edge correctly on the quarterback runs in the Rpos they can learn from that they got pressures some of it was created with the blitz but it's only been one game we do have a room full of guys who can get to the quarterback they just need to finish they got some pressures they got close how easy he didn't even get credit for a pressure I guess they said it was a run but he got mauled he got mugged he didn't even get on the stat sheet he doesn't get held that's a big play..

I agree with you We can get this done by having a group just like we're trying with the running backs by committee they just need need to make a better effort in in the games coming up..

Not like they were caught with their pants down literally this off season they brought back Fowler they brought James Houston They brought in Turner who's on IR to go along with Sam Williams trying to make a career contract gear so he's a little extra motivated and you had the last two drafts you had Kneeland who seems to be starting to make a step and you have Ez-E..


I think they have a coaching staff that actually knows how to coach and make corrections and get into players head on how to correct this stuff week to week I really truly believe we've lacked that sometimes where it just went out and said we have the best players like you said when you have that many good players to rely on it's less about scheme and more about skill from those impact players but now you need to scheme these players into better positions and you can produce as a group it's like team defense in basketball you may not have a lockdown defender you're not going to have an All Pro defender but as a team you can play defense at a high level as long as everyone buys in...
 
The lack of team concept stems from jerry being all about him, flash, and making money over winning. Once you realize the guy that is paying you is all about money and not willing to sacrifice for you, it's easy to act just like him.

He builds the team around stars that he can market, not putting the best team together. This is why they haven't had success in years. No middle class, just stars and bottom level talent around them.

Mostly home grown players they sell as stars at this point.

They have enough talent on that defence that Parsons doesn't have to be the only playmaker.

I see team that will manage Parsons for the long haul.

He's gonna ware down, He seems to be the only player on their squad getting chipped by everyone.

Lets see if he's still durable after week 10 taking all those chips.

Yep, how is a puss rush specialist supposed to show up when no one else does….or better yet, not on the roster in the first place?

Always wanted to see what he would look like with a real middle of a defense. Guess I’ll get that shot now.

Overshown is severely missed...cant wait FOR AGENT 0 to return. He and Liafu must be the starters they are the "types" that can create disruption.

I still not sure why the coaches are trying to make Liafu prove himself but we watch how he plays he plays aggressive fast side to side always trying to rip the ball out I don't know what he did but Matt needs to let him off the chain..

He couldn't do that here because his only chance was to rush in willynilly and affect the QB. Same w/ Ware.

I find it very strange how so many don't comprehend the bugaboo of having subpar talent around you.
