For our Cowboys, we are now officially into the draft process.

We are slotted to pick 17th overall in the first round, but teams are built with picks round 1-7. Lets discuss players you guys are interested in, whether we fill it's the time to draft that position or not. Hopefully there will be a new coaching staff, and maybe a large roster turnaround lets educate one another on players who you like.

I will mention players, and more than likely dig into tape after the combine once numbers are compiled and base more informative content based on what the team may do once we figure out the coaching staff.

Lets try to keep this thread active up until the draft and compile a ton of prospects.

I don't know how much this team is going to need a WR in this draft, but depending on what is done with Cooper and/ Cobb it could be a position they look to fill in the draft in the top 3 rounds. Tyler Johnson Minnesota Golden Gophers WR is one guy I will keep my eyes on. Also I will keep my eyes on Michael Pittman JR who is a WR for an underperforming/ underdeveloping USC team who might have a lot of untapped potential to go along with his big frame.
Tyler Johnson
Season / Team / Games/ Rec / Yds/ TD
2018-19 Minnesota 13 78 1169 12
2019-20 Minnesota 12 74 1114 11

Michael Pittman JR

I'll throw out some pet cats.

WR Bryan Edwards, South Carolina - I get some Dez Bryant vibes from him. 6'3" & 215 lbs. Not the fastest, but maybe good enough. Compensates with physicality; making contested receptions & breaking tackles.
WR Devin Duvernay, Texas - He had a big bowl game, but I was on to him before that. Just reading my notes on him reminded me of the comparisons between Randall Cobb & Cole Beasley and how he resembles Cobb.
OG Logan Stenberg, Kentucky - It'd be hard to justify another pick at guard, but this dude is a monstrosity. Draftscout.com has him listed at 6'6" & 322 lbs and he tosses people around. I wouldn't be surprised to see him test bad at the combine though.
DT Neville Gallimore, Oklahoma - Everyone has zeroed in on Javon Kinlaw, but I'd be happy with this guy. We'll see where his ultimate range is; allegedly he'll be a great tester and may rise.

A huge pet cat of mine is Donovan Peoples-Jones out of Michigan. He just declared today.

He has great size, skills and upside.

His numbers were down due to the Michigan system. Kid can flat out ball

I think matching up need, value and depth at the position CB looks like a strong possibility in the first. Diggs, Adebo and Fulton could all go around where we pick

I like that TE from UCLA Devin Asiasi 6'-3",280 lbs and the guy is not slow and has good hands.

TE'S I like the guy from ND Cole Kmet

or washington Hunter Bryant

If yall want to talk about TE's, I'll throw the small school special at ya with Dayton TE Adam Trautman.

I don't think he's going to fly under the radar, when all is said and done.

Might have the most upside of any TE.
