Pryor

Pryor is never going to be a starting QB in the NFL...Never.

He was a great athlete at Ohio St...not a great QB.

Hell Troy Smith was way ahead of him as a QB at Ohio St and he can't even make it in the NFL.

If Pryor really wants to make it in the NFL...he'll switch postions...but he won't cause he thinks he's a QB.

He's not...he's a great athlete that happens to play QB.

Put a 5th-7th round bid on him. If we get him then throw him at receiver.

Should the Cowboys take Terrelle Pryor in the supplemental draft. I'm not opposed to the idea.

You know, he sounds like an interesting prospect. But does anyone know what his football IQ is, so to speak? Wonderlic scores? Can he effectivly stand in the pocket, read a defense and make a fast, effective, decisive throw? I just dont know. Anyone know?

I was never really impressed with him as a qb. Reminded me of a slow Vince Young with a lesser arm. Uh ,wouldn't be opposed to sticking him on the practice squad. See ic we can convert him maybe idk.

Hines Ward was converted to WR and he's not much of an athlete... he's just tough as nails and has great hands.

I will not be surprised if we take Pryor because we all know that this is Kitna's last year. I have heard he will retire after this year. The long term plan could be to develop Pryor then trade him.

Problem is, he would take up a roster spot eventually. No way he gets to the practice squad.

Bring him in, any competition is good competition and he's good enough to at least win a backup job.

So a slightly above average college QB is good enough to beat out Kitna or McGee? Over the next 3 weeks. Really????

The problem is we can't just bring him in for competition.... because if we won then we would have to forfeit next years draft pick that for the round we put a bid on. So you have to be careful what you wish for.

Guys Guys......You all are missing the Point here...

What is all this...That he cant do this or cant do that... so what...Forget all that...

What he does have is as great athletic skills..You cant teach athletic skills.
You ether have it or you don't..

Cowboys please take him. He will come cheap in the SD with great athletic ability.. with potential..

Take him if hes available in your position... he will be a bargain..

Drafting purely on athleticism has been one of the biggest down falls of this team in recent years....

The mental aspect of the game is much more important IMO.

We should evaluate this guy but honestly like I said before is I would put no more than a 5th round bid on him if we were to bid because I simply see no point in forfeiting a draft pick for next year with a bigger pool of players who have much less negative history.

Ok yes I agree that today's game the mental aspect of the game is much more important..

However you can teach mental aspect of the game especially with the core of coaches we have now.

But you cant teach athletic skills..

With that I take him, though I do question his character as to he could have been a top 10-15 next years Draft pick If he dint have character Issues..

He does have issues so maybe hes goes through the Interview process if the Cowboys have an Interest and to see if the Cowboys can gauge where this guys mentally is at..

Well See...

Pryor may be a good NFL quarterback. He's also a great athlete and can help a team in other ways. I thnk he could be an added weapon for an NFL team.

Ah, no. No more college QB to WR experiments. Those almost always end in failure.

Sorry, but this is a huge fail. I want great "football players", not great "athletes". Just because you're a great athlete does not mean you can play QB in the NFL, just like being a track star does not mean you can play WR in the NFL. Just say no.

Take a chance on an over-rated, talentless, irresponsible diva with an inflated ego?

sure, why not?

I want great "football players.... At what price ?

For me, I'll take great athletes over Good/Average football players any day..

just like being a track star does not mean you can play WR in the NFL.

Do you know who was Bullet Bob" Hayes
