At this point, I just pity you. It must suck knowing you're part of the reason for the failure of the team with your platinum curses. But it's a lesson you keep failing to learn from. Your guarantees more often than not lead to losses. Sadly, I do similar. When I talk to friends, if I say the Cowboys are going to decisively win, more often than not the Cowboys end up choosing that week to choke.

This season it happened against the Cardinals, the Bills, and the Packers. So I'm done predicting a Cowboys win when talking to friends (offline). I've learned my lesson.

This here. GORICO, you're a good poster and an optimist, but your guarantees are a jinx. You may get some right, but the vast majority are losses...either really bad losses to good teams or embarrassing losses to bad teams. At this point it is time for you to put away the guarantees. I don't think you are the sole reason for the losses (that's obviously on the players and coaches) but between your plats and the over optimism of the board and media, that just always seems like a recipe for a loss. As the fan/media optimism grew, and you delivered your Plat, that was when I started to feel like we would lose this game...to the point my wife asked me why my mood had changed from earlier in the week.
