I will be in San Juan, PR for the opening weekend of games:(

Never let a woman schedule a vacation with a quick nod of it's cool, whatever....

Anyways I need to know the best possible place to watch the game in PR. If they happen to serve mofongos and cold beer all the better.

If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

Maybe you'll get the Spanish Language broadcast. It could be great fun understanding only "part" of the football game. ;)

Where in PR...I lived there back in the day and I have good news for you, they do air the games there.
The Hooters in Old San Juan is a decent spot, but look for sports bars too...NFL football is alive and well down there.

Its funny... I went to PR 2 years ago after not going there for about 20 years. It looks like many place in the U.S.A. All modernized, you should have no problem finding a place or sportsbar.

Its all commercialized.

Good luck even getting to where you wanna go. I was there last year and the traffic is nuts. Not just in number of people but in craziness of people. I'd bet your hotel will have Fox.

Also, keep a look out for a free week of DTV online player. They gave out week 1 for free last year.

Take your passport. I'm not sure but I heard that you might be asked for it on the way back to the US.

Didn't sound right because I didn't need it just a year ago but someone I know who lives down there said that people were being asked for it now.

Nice link bro. I've been to Lupi's on a past trip and it's close to the Hotel I'm staying in.

Thanks to everyone offering advice.

My main concern is will they show the Cowboys on Fox down there obviously.
I'll find a sports bar if not but at friggin Noon it might be tough. A lot of the bars probably won't be open that early on a Sunday.

I'll just make it a priority on Saturday to find a bar that says they show the game:)

yea i had to get one a few years back and i take it on all trips.. they tightened things up a lot.

i wear a crew cut and going in and out the country is a lot easier when i wear camouflage and this rangers cap i have... people mistake it for an army rangers cap instead of a texas rangers one. twice now i've breezed threw customs without so much as a glance at my luggage on the us side... in mexico they searched it heavily.
