the eagles are limping into this game and plan to sit several key players. The dont even want Vick on the field especially considering the pounding he took last time they played. The Eagles are hoping for a soft easy game in which they dont care if they win or loss as it won't affect their seeding. Dallas and Garrett would earn alot of respect from their fans to really go all out in this game and make it a punishing game physically.

Punishing them isn't good enough. I want them buried. I'd like to see Jackson bloodied up and speachless at his locker after the game wondering what the hell happened.

And too bad Vick might not play. I'd give anything to see Ware break him in half.

Regardless of the outcome Sunday Philly seems like a one and done to me. The could possibly meet the saints or packers in the first round. Philly's secondary is beat up, their offensive line is average at best, and without those big plays Jackson isn't crap. The saints and the packers provide numerous macthup problems for Philly. I doubt Reid puts Jackson in the game to subject him to punishment he deserves.

Or punish them next season by winning a Super Bowl with the awesome draft picks that we can get. :D

I'm curious to see if Reid will be crying on the sidelines about unreasonable hits being made on Kolb.

This game is meh to me. I honestly want the better draft pick right now.

If we win, we not only drop out of the top 10, but we probably lose our last place schedule as well.

Not worth it when Philly is resting starters, sorry but we need to lose this game. If we lose, we probably are picking no lower than #5 and we have a last place schedule.

Put it like this, is beating the Eagle backups worth losing Patrick Peterson over? You know what my answer is.

What do you think the odds of the Broncos drafting him before us? Esp as C Bailey wants out as well.

Sounds like you Cowboy fans are split on your feelings about winning or losing game 17. I know you want to punish the Eagles because you hate us. I know that you want a better team next season, by being eligible for a 4th round draft pick. Since there is no way to have your cake and eat it too, you have no choice but to be in it to win it! The only other alternative is to tank the game for the greater good of the Cowboys.

Tanking wouldn't be god on your temporary coaches resume. I hear all of this talk about punishing the Eagles, breaking D-jax' jaw, and injuries to players ...none of the demonstrates good sportsmanship.

It's only normal to want the best for your team, but not at the expense of a debilitating injury to the opposing team. In this case, it sounds like a lose-lose situation.

I can only tell you that the Eagles 2nd team is no joke. They are looking to make a name fir themselves and probably are looking at inflicting some punishment of their own. Win or lose they are in the post season. This could be a dangerous game for both teams in many ways.

Stay healthy Cowboys.

Yeah, it's like Rosie O'Donnell giving beauty tips to Halle Berry.

We'd be doing the same thing they're doing, and we've done it repeatedly in the past. I attended a game in Washington to end the season when the Cowboys didn't even allow Troy or Emmitt to dress, and neither was hurt...we lost.

When the Eagles say they'll rest players, they mean guys who are hurt, probably just Vick and Jackson on offense.

We're down to our third string QB and the same terrible defense we've been trotting out there all year. Kolb will lead the Eagles to a victory...pretty sure about that.

McCoy is 22; Jackson is 24; Macklin is 22. That team is going to be a thorn in our sides in the future until we improve our OL and defense.

DIdn't you team and fans cheer when Michael went down? Didn't your teams fans throw battery snowballs at opposing teams busses? Didn't you team boo santa?

You sir have MASSIVE balls coming here and talking about sportsmanship and anything remotely concerning the word "good"

I can not speak for other fans ...I did none of that! But I know I cannot tell that to anyone here. Have a nice New Year.

I'm out of here for a while.

I was thinking I was going to miss this game, but as a DISH employee I just got that TV Everywhere app with my iphone. Love this thing! Anyone else used it? Now I can watch my 'Boys clip the Eagles wings whether I'm on the couch or stuck at the airport!

Week 17. W-e-e-k 17. A bye week plus sixteen games equals seventeen.

I will not speak for other Cowboys fans. However, this is it for the 2010 Cowboys. Neither a win nor a loss guarantees squat beyond this season (especially acquiring targeted players during the draft), but a win's a win.

Don't generalize. Some Cowboys fans hate the Eagles and have good reason for doing so.

Me? I hate the Commanders, Steelers and 49ers. When I think of Philly, it brings back memories of a front office's only hardcore motivation for winning a Super Bowl in the form of signing Terrell Owens; and a fanbase integrated with individuals who pelt Santa Claus with snowballs or who laugh at injured players lying prone on the football field.

Hate? Nah. Disgust. You betcha.

Funny how that little bit of insanity isn't isolated only within the Dallas fanbase.

Don't be confused as some others are. Jason Garrett's coaching to win. Losing has never entered his mind.

~patiently waits for the "How do you know what he's thinking?" nonsense? is posted~

It's our last game of the season fella. We'll have more than enough time to heal up just fine, thank you. In the meantime, pray for Dog Fighting Racketeer & Company finally bringing home a Lombardi for the first time. Lord knows, they'll need it.
