Punt and kick returners

This area has been lousy this season. Beasley was awful at it. Whitehead did finally show some flashes. Obviously, the team is missing Dwayne Harris, though Harris was never a Devon Hester. Do you guys hope the team addresses this need in the draft?

Whitehead has been in there regular on KR's. But now time to put him in there on PR's, regardless of the situation. Even if fielding inside the 20.
How else will he learn and get used to it, making the correct decisions.

then they will know if they need to look for someone else.
but from what I been seeing lately, I think he can replace Harris. It did take Harris a few years to start showing some production. All around production, including WR

I wanted to draft Stephon Diggs from MD badly but MINN got him.

I thought they would cut Cordarelle Patterson but they kept them both. They will cut him this year though.

A good point. Maybe if at around the 5th round someone with a lot of potential is there, we pick him and then he can compete in training camp. Whitehead looks like he may be a keeper who will get better, but some new blood/competition may not be a bad idea. I would be thrilled to have someone come around who's a threat to take it to the house on any return. We haven't had that since Deion Sanders was on the team, and you never know who might come along and be like that. It was a big surprise that Herschel Walker was like that on his second stint with the team.

Yeah, I hope they've realized that the Beasely experiment on returns is a failure. He ain't the guy, and I'm not ragging on him because he's proven his value in other areas. He's an excellent slot/role player receiver. He's done good things for the team, but returning is not one of them.
