Man, purchasing on-line is a great deal, but sometimes it's so freaking annoying.

Many times you get great deals, free shipping and no tax. (exactly what I just got) I basically saved $50, and free shipping no tax, but...

My item(s) are on backorder until June 24th! :yousuck:

Well, the primary item isn't. (Meade ETX-80-AT-TC Astro Telescope) but the hardshell case, Zhumell 1.25 Inch Eyepiece and Filter Kit, and AC adapter are all on backorder.

This company has been in business for some time and they have several on-line stores. You figure by now, they could at least have inventory on their website and a date when it will be back in stock.

I'm annoyed enough to cancel my order, but saving around $75 (the $50, plus tax buying it in NYC) is probably just to good to do so. (about $3 a day during the wait)

I suppose I will just wait, then review the site and let my annoyance be known.

lol, Why would you be annoyed a company has an item on backorder when apparently they are selling it for a lot less than anyone else?

That's like getting mad when you show up for a Free Crack Giveaway and discover it's an intervention!

I prefer to buy locally first because I like to have it in my hand when I buy something even if I pay a little more. I hate waiting. lol

There are some things I absolutely won't buy online. Like Guitars or cloths. Anything that can vary on a piece by piece bases.

Books or DVDs, they are all exact replicas of each other. There is no difference. The difference between one guitar and another of the exact same year and model, can vary quite a bit.

Yeah from experience, shopping online for clothes is a bad idea. If it's a store I can actually visit in person, then you can know what to expect but blindly clothes shopping is such a guessing game and returns CAN be a pain.

It doesn't help that I'm 6'6", so shopping for clothes is already tough.

:laugh2: I love references to old movies and the like when they come out of nowhere.

+1 to BP

Thats one reason I originally became a fan of Family Guy when it first came out. (before it's initial failure) All they used to do is make references to old TV and movies.

I ordered online a lot. Many times (not saying all the time) I can save money by ordering stuff online. A couple of days ago I ordered some movies from Amazon and last night I ordered some movies from the Disney movie club. I ordered some Blu-rays movies for around $8 and $12 and some Dvds for around $5 (and these are all brand new copies).
