With all the top tier RB talent off the board and the Rams and Browns loaded at that position why not make a move for Mason, West, or Crowell.

The guy's available this late are about on par with the vets you mentioned.

I don't think it's out of the realm of reason to see us draft a QB in round four.

Whats wrong with getting Jay Ajayi if he's there in round 4?

Hypothetical question. I am not a fan of AJayi he fumbles to much. Just a thought and those three RBs listed are all better than who is left today. One of today's 7 th could pry one of those guys away.

Im starting to believe that the we just arent interested in a RB at all, the dark horse RB has to be our own Ryan Williams.

We did not visit with a buttload of RBs to be not interested in RBs.

They have just taken players that liked more and I do believe that if a couple of RBs they liked would have been there at 127 they would have took them (coleman and maybe johnson).

There was a guy Dominique Brown RB out of Louisville I think he could be had in the 5th round. He looked good in Senior Bowl, think Cowboys should consider him .

I'm real interested to see if we get Allen or Cobb. Both can be an every down back, Allen for pass catching, Cobb for 3rd down blocking. Cobb is big and physical. Maybe he's the bruiser and they conserve McFadden for speed roles and screens? The description on Cobb's physicality seems to fit what Garrett talks about in the run game.

Should be pretty interesting today. I'm also interested to see if we get someone like a Jamison Crowder from Duke late as a our return man specialist to replace Harris. Might be one we use that 2nd 7th rounder on.

Should be fun today.

At this point, it's really a question of scouting to pick the right one. I like Allen, Davis and Cobb, but I'm not going to be mad if it's one of the others because it's so difficult to tell which ones will hit and which ones will miss.

Like you, I don't believe Dallas brought in and worked out all those backs for nothing, but I think the depth of the position and players available at the point the Cowboys drafted have led them in other directions up to this point. That might continue for another round if there's no run on running backs.

The Browns have had a decent draft, IMO.
Danny Shelton
Cameron Erving
Nate Orchard
Duke Johnson
Xavier Cooper

I like what I've seen from Crowell but I have not really studied him in depth. I don't know why they would want to trade him away. You need 3 good RBs on a roster.

The only one I could see interest in is Mason. I believe they liked him. But would the Rams deal him and cheaply is the question?

I agree I just need something to help ease my mind when I look at the current roster.

What about Zack Stacy?

Stacy is a good running back that is built to be a main back. A new coaching staff thought more of Mason and didn't see Stacy as a complimentary back. I would surely trade a pick today for him, chances are...2 of our next 4 picks won't even be on the roster.
