IMO somewhere in this game, a scenario will play out......how will the boys respond when they get knocked down. Years past, they rolled..... Eventually! True champions punch back once knocked down..... Who will stand up an punch back? Why do I have a feeling of our boys being the ones ready for round 12 come Sunday?
I really believe we will have trouble running like we have, but for some reason.... I see a fight breaking out in this game.

Seahawks will be in a drag down battle too, they have not played against such an aggressive front line combined with one of the most violent runners in the game. They best tighten their chin straps too.

I think they should punch them first. Match Dez up with Sherman and go right at him deep on a play action right out the gate.

San Diego's line was pretty aggressive with them.

I think we will run the ball down their throat. I can see us being very aggressive with the run. They may hold up at first but eventually like everyone else will break down and then the passing game will open up. I think their pride in their superior defensive backs to handle our wide receivers one on one will be their downfall once the running game is established.

I think (and I said so elsewhere but can't remember the thread) that I feel like Dallas is going to come out and punch Seattle in the mouth. Seattle isn't going to like it one bit and they're going to start trying to intimidate and punch back because they aren't used to intimidation tactics used on them at home. The key will be how Dallas reacts when Seattle punches back and tries to be more physical.

I think this team knows they are physical, and knows they need to be even moreso in Seattle. I think they don't back down and this becomes a knock-down-drag-out.

Dallas punched San Francisco in the mouth on opening day and minus a QB that was way bad off, I think they would be undefeated now. They flat out physically pushed San Fran around, and if they can do it to them, they can do it to anybody... including Seattle.

I can't wait.

I believe the opposite of what you believe.

Yeah...this looks good, because otherwise Seattle's plan is basic and simple. Shut down the run and force Dallas to play chuck-ball against the LOB. I don't like that match-up...not without a threatening running attack. They will certainly be looking to out-hit the Dallas offense. The secondary takes great pride in big hits...and trash talk, judging by the highlight reels. The one thing I see, and it was on full display Monday night, is that overconfidence breeds sloppy play, as evidenced by nearly 100 yards of penalties.

Judging by fan posts, the pass rush has been hit or miss, and Cousins was able to make some 7-step drops Sunday night, without any real running threat. If Romo has Murray running loose and a 7-step drop with play-action, then Dallas will be in a nice position.

In theory I like that idea, but you're setting yourself up for a long day if Sherman makes a play.

I don't think the reward outweighs the risk by doing that. You'll have to test Sherman eventually more than likely, but I think you could give them a lot of extra momentum and get the crowd even more into the game if you do something like that and it doesn't work.

It seems like 99% of the posts this week are about what the Cowboys offense is/isn't going to do to the Seahawks defense.

Nobody seems to mention that part I am most concerned with -- the fact that the Seahawks come in as the #1 rushing offense in the NFL (both in yards as well as yards per/carry) and a incredibly variable QB who is passing a 112 QB rating clip rate and can utterly destroy defensive moral by running for lots of 1st downs.

I believe the Dallas offense can effectively move the ball on Seahawks and position the team to score 20-23 points or so.

How are the Cowboys going to stop the Seahawks from getting 23 points?

Dallas will need to stick to their game plan, even when it does not seem to be working. Run and lose a fews yards, run it again.
SD stuck to their game plan and kept coming at them. they did not change, and it worked.

I think we can move the ball on them easier than people think. they still have a very good defense, but it's showing it's not what it once was. And we have a pretty darn good offense, it's not like they have a force field up there.

And as been mentioned, I am too more concerned how do we stop their offense. They aren't built for passing as much as people think. As we all konw, contain wilson, do not let him outside. Then the run, make him pass. Also need to stop Harvin on their gadget plays. Tall order.

SD, and I think the Commanders too, keep him inside, as they did get to Wilson and sack him. But I think it was Broaddus said, this is where the Cowboys lack of a pass rush may help. Rush your guys, but when Wilson tries to go outside, have a guy there to force him back inside. Don't worry about the sacks, but limit what he can do.

I'm kind of hoping a football game breaks out during the fight.

With both Bruce Carter and Ro McClain healthy, I'd like are odds a whole lot better...especially when it comes to matching physicality. As it stands though, I'm not sure this Cowboys defense is ready...but I hope I'm wrong.

Like most weeks, Romo will be key. I think this is one of the weeks he has to be careful with the ball. IN their stadium, with their noise level. If he throws up an INT early they will jump all over us. As most are saying run, run and run again. With some careful play action off of that. Defense is the scary part for me. If McClain does not play (And even if he does, he won't be at 100%) can Wilcox come down and tackle Beast mode ? This is the game everybody needs to be fundamentally sound. No breakdowns on D. We have a good chance if they play solid, fundamental defense.

The way Wilson shredded the Commanders is what worries me the most. Our LBers are hurting and I think Hitchens will be exposed as a rookie if forced to play a lot. If we had a healthy RoMc, Carter and Durant I would feel a lot better.
