I love the trades we made. I love the play of the D the last two games. I love Pickens and the fire and passion he is bringing. I love how Dak is leading this franchise right now.

But I have decided to boycott talking playoffs until when and if this team beats both KC and Det.

There are enough issues and enough past bed-craps that they simply have to prove that they belong in the playoff conversation.

Time to put up or shut up. Win out and they have over an 80% chance to go to the dance.

I love the direction they are trending in, and everything is in front of them for the taking.

Do they have the grit, fire, and championship will to take it away from other teams? They are going to have to out-bully the bullies to get where they want to go.

I am rooting for them to do it. But they have to show us. Beat KC and Det and prove you are ready to scrap with the big boys in the NFL.

We can talk about a playoff push if they show up and beat down KC and Det and prove they are ready to take the next step.

Hell yeah - win two more in a row then let's talk - a huge w tomorrow and the fan base will be heating up, a win next week against Detroit and they will be on fire!!!

Unfortunately this is also set up for a massive letdown, but for now one game at a time and let's get a win tomorrow

Everyone raise their right hand and repeat after me...

"If my Cowboys lose, I will not overreact and create countless threads bashing this team. This is the defending NFL dynasty regardless of record, and we were not a good team until recently. I should not be surprised if we lose this game and start thinking about 2026."

Good luck with that

Quinnen Williams is Jordan Davis without the man child issues. We have been pushed around so much up front for so long. It's nice to finally be able to push back.

I'm not worried about this year.

W/ the acquisitions, we have a chance to open up a 2-3 year window of having a very good team. Fix the S and LB positions, and this team could be for real. Draft more TEs and CBs, and we'll be putting any sort of chance at contention of one more year.

He's more Jeffrey Simmons, but OK.

A lot of fans still don't see it but replacing Micah Parsons(and the cap hit that comes with him) with Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark and a 1st round pick was the right move.

Couldn't agree more. If ever there was a litmus test, watershed moment for this team, it's tomorrow vs the Chiefs. No more excuses for not being prepared to play. We have corrected things, and now it's time to shut up, and SHOW ME/US. Beating Philly is one thing, but beating an all world HC,QB is s another. With the Chiefs, I'm skeptical that we have suddenly become so good that we can beat them. Alot must got perfectly for that. This requires a near flawless game on all three phases. KC is in dire straights like Dallas. Let's not forget. They will be throwing the sink at us early. We better bring it.

I do. I always agreed with doing this.

Yip, agree. The next couple years we have a chance to compete at a high level, this year aside because I think it's a bit too late for 2025. I feel those trades were made not solely for now but the next couple years.

If the season were to start 2 weeks ago, this team as assembled would be a playoff team. The start to the season will likely be the killer, but the hope for '26 will put them at a different conversation point to start the season next year. Neither KC or Detroit are the teams everybody expected them to be this year, so the games are winnable. The TBD is will it be enough

Yeah, I too, am in that "see it to believe it" mode.

Obviously I would love nothing more than for this team to go on a winning streak and suck us all back in, but even if they don't, I can't help but lowkey feel excited for the future. This team has some really good pieces to build off of, especially if they show us some grit to finish the season........but that's for another thread.

Using that cap space on FA's alone will be a huge help.

Hes #1 in qbr currently and just got weapons on the defensive side.
Dak WILL NOT win this game without running support. I posted it in another thread, but Dak is best play-action passer in NFL. Hopefully Javonte got some rest because we're going to need him to pull an Emmitt and shoulder the team's offense.

I could argue that they could lose all 6 games. They could also win all 6. I think they need to win at least 5 so every one counts. Beating the Chiefs would be huge. One at a time.

What good is it to win these games if we go and stink it up vs the chargers Washington or the Giants
