Putting too much stock in ONE Game???

Some may say that I am putting way too much stock in this one game but...

My feelings are this, if we win, it could springboard us to a great couple year runs. A SB or two maybe.

If we lose, I think we go into the tank the rest of the year. Just a gut feeling.

With all that said, I say we win 35-21!

I think that if we win this, it'll probably vault us into the playoffs. I'm not sure about future seasons, but it could save this season.

I'm not so sure we tank if we lose this. We might go 9-7 or maybe (if we're really lucky) 10-6.

While I agree the division and conference games are more important to making the playoffs, the game today could set the tone for any hope of going anywhere IF we make the playoffs. ...I still have high hopes

I guess my point BDC, was more Phsycological than anything else. From a standing viewpoint you are right, but from a morale booster and a confidence builder, I think this game is paramount. Either we prove we belong with the big boys or we are just another also ran.

Either way, I think this is our bench mark game of the year.

I see what you're saying, and I think that applied early on in the season.But it's too late in the season for us not to win this one. I know a must win against an undefeated team is bad timing. But that's the hand we've been dealt.

I think we are putting too much stock into this one game. I'd love to win BUT the way other playoff contenders in the NFC are falling apart it seems apparent that a 9-7 team will be making the playoffs.

We could lose to the G-men in NYC but I don't see any other teams left on the schedule that scare me.

The way I see it, Caj, is that if we would have beat the Skins, then this game is not a must-win... but after losing that game, then this is one we HAVE to win.
